I have have the PO 39.5 in black. Absolutely love it. Hugely underrated.
The 39.5 PO keeps getting slept on because people keep taking the dimensions at face value. It doesn't wear thick and it feels proportional on wrist. It does wear heavy yet feels balanced and comfortable on wrist.
I tried one on a year ago, I was stunned at how it fit, like you said, people are taking the dimensions at face value
@@dorningarts I tried it one on for the first time at an AD with the belief that I wasn't going to like it.
Next thing you know, it just looked great on my wrist and bought it on the spot.
Well said! We're doing our part to make sure they don't miss out 😉
Correct! Ppl just dimsiss it outright without trying it in person. Omega's don't wear thick at all. My speedmaster 3861 wears smaller and thinne than my Sub 16610 ...but on paper you would think the omega is thicker and chunkier
Yep Omega's lug lengths and bracelets wear smaller than they sound. SM300 diver is like that too. That PO is a nice watch for sure. Would probably look even smaller in black vs blue too?
The 54 wears larger as that sailcloth makes it sit awkward on your wrist
Love my BB58 Blue, put it on a leather strap and it is my everyday wearer, except when I'm at the gym or doing chores, I have a Seiko SNK809 for those occasions. My wrist is 6.5" and the BB58 works well.
Thank god small watches are coming back! That 54 Looks good on your 15cm wrist.
I have the 39.5 PO and a 7.25” wrist. This watch wears nicely for larger wrists as well. It has a almost vintage feel to it, like a shorter lugged 14060m Sub. Also as someone that has tried the larger PO the bracelet is waaaay more comfortably at 19mm on a daily basis.
My thoughts are to get rid of both Black Bays and keep the PO, however your new Zenith also has a blue dial, so if you are going for a smaller and more focused collection, it might be good to not repeat in dial color. So, what if you got rid of all three BB58, BB54, PO, and then got the Cartier Santos. You would have a two watch collection of Zenith Defy 36mm and Cartier Santos. Then, take some time and figure out a good diver to complete the three watch collection (daily, dress watch, sports watch).
Hmm, I hadn't considered selling all 3!
I'll have to look into that.
Thank you, my friend!
I have the men's version of the PO (43,5mm.) Wears like a 42mm.
Seiko MUST sell regulated, accurate, certified chronometers (create a global, Japanese institute,…. ) I’ve STOPPED buying (so sorry Seiko😢) pretty dials are for others, I’m ashamed of my heritage, for a month (1984) I had a wonderful opportunity working for Swiss Timing/ Omega, they are a culture wholly devoted to accuracy, precision, that is 100% repetitious, delivered over 💯 years, Seiko needs to up their complete commitment to accuracy, precision in their company!
Seiko sell regulated, accurate, watches called Grand Seiko
Don't sleep on any of these. That can't be good for your back or the watches. Great job on the video, Sanjay!
Haha I used that cliché didn't I? 🤣
Thanks as always, Chaz!
I have a 6.25 inch wrist and the 54 fits me perfectly, but my wrists are flat
That bronze Black Bay is a beautiful timepiece
Definitely sell the 54; clearly your least favorite and you should be able to sell it for a decent price since it’s hot right now.
The few times I saw a Tudor I liked, I ended up picking an Omega that looks similar every time. I don’t trust Tudor, I stick to either Rolex, Breitling or Omega.
Hmm that's interesting.
Did you feel that the quality of theTudors were compromised in some way?
Omega watches do have a more opulent feeling about them
Just buy beautiful vintage 34mm watches and put your mind at ease. 😂
Haha oh I'll probably have a few more of those in the future 🙂
Good vid Sanjay,
Aiming for a Santos is a great Idea. I also love that watch esprcially in two tones. As for the BB's, the Bronze BB58 is a must keep un my opinion. A Tudor boutique exclusive that is way different than the dozen almost the same versions of the 58. One of very few, if not the only model on the market that comes with a bronze bracelet. I also got one and I adore it.
Many calls it "retro" or "vintage" but in reality it its more a "Steampunk" Explorer. Hope you keep it, its different than anything on the market.
The Planet Ocean suits you best! The BlackBays doesn’t really suit you well. Although Omegas are thick and heavy the wired and short lugs do also favor people with smaller wrists. I’m also just 5 foot 7 with a wristsize of 17,2 cm and have pretty thick underarms. I’m a gym dude. I got the BB54 and despite the small specs of the watch on paper in reality the watch got a pretty good wrist presence because of the 46 mm lug to lug width and 20 mm bandwidth. I also recognized that women on IG
wearing this watch that it looks really big on them and out of proportions. I think the only solution to grow your wrist size is to gain weight and do a lot of deadlifts 💪🏻 great Video by the way 😎
Also, I agree the PO is the best fit for you. I think you should send both Tudors down the road, Santos or not.
That's an option that is still on the table 🙂
Thanks for watching, my friend!
Ppl dismiss omega based on paper specs. Omegas wear smaller and thinner than smaller spec Rolex.
My speedmaster 3861 42mm wears thinner than smaller than sub 16610.
Even though it appears chunkier on paper.🎉
Always try them on in person. Don't believe those fake UA-cam reviewers who have are either biased or have never held them and compared them in person.
OMEGA Planet Ocean all day long I have a 2020 black dial very beautiful watch
You should try the Davosa Ternos medium. 36.5mm with only 43mm lug to lug. Perfect for small wrist
Just my opinion. The Legend diver was better looking and more interesting watch. Take the 2 Tudors, 1 Omega and get the Santos Medium and the Legend Diver back.
Unfortunately the PO 37 and legend diver 36 uses the eta 2000 caliber based movements which mainly for ladies dress watches extremely tiny fragile movements
I have the white dial Omega Seamaster 300m and the Santos with the black ADLC bezel - WSSA0037. Consider the WSSA0037 or WSSA0039 (blacked put Santos). They wear so well and the black dial makes them present smaller. I've owned both and they're amazing and not too flashy.
If I were you, keep the Omega PO and save for a Santos!
When I started collecting 15 years ago everything was huge 42 to 44mm except Rolex and homages. We have so much more choice now
I have a less than 6 inch wrist hence the black PO 39.5mm was a no brainer. Bracelet is comfortable - period.
ever tried norqain 37mm divers? the 37mm black bay is definitely too big for a 5.75inch
Keep the PO, by a mile!
I heard your chatting with your amazing and fun friends that you could re-buy the bronze in the future if you really liked it, but I thought that may not always apply
in favor to you because the Tudor may feel in the near future as a watch you may not want to buy again, considering that the movements though are very good not something that would be taken good care of by kenissi, compared to omega, in that
omega would change broken parts but rarely if every swap out the entire movement. The bronze look awesome on you and it seems your enjoying it so much. I'd considere it as a precious metal watch and keep it.
Very interesting video, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Could i ask where you purchased the BB54 strap and buckle please?
I have a small wrist. I've had the BB bronze and the 39.5mm Planet Ocean. The bronze is gone, sold it, the PO is my daily wear.
Do you have a link by any chance for the Tudor 54 Black Bay strap that is on the watch please? I really like it
Can I purchase the Tudor off you.. Jesus Bless!
Haha I don't know if I'm selling yet 😅
Are you local to the Toronto(Canada) area?
Nice review. Could you please let me know the strap info on a BB54?
Get those watches up the wrist, no watch is designed to wear against the hand.
It's about how he wants to wear it. We all have personal preferences.
Nah real man wear it on the palm down the knuckles 💪🏽
Haha I agree.
When I put a watch on, it is usually against the hand but the watch creeps up to a good resting position within a few moments.
That said, when taking a picture, I like seeing my watch closer to my hand.
My choice would be keep the BB58 Bronze, sell everything else.
All great watches Sanjay-good luck 😎!
Thanks! I'm going to need it haha 😛
I like the originality of the bb bronze . But the po is the winner in looks and wrist presence.👍
Gosh, there's so many good comments already written that I agree with, I don't know if I can add anything.
I agree with the people that suggest switching out another strap/ bracelet on the 54. I'd go to the AD and ask to try on the 54 with the bracelet. You probably did that when you first bought it, but now you know what to look for.
Second, if you keep the PO, you'll have a two blue watch collection. That wouldn't be my choice, but maybe you really like blue?
Third, do you really see the 58 bronze as a long term, like, which one of the kids will inherit this watch, keeper? If your intention is to build a long term collection, not sure if bronze anything would be my choice.
Finally, enjoy all three watches until you know for sure. Be patient.
This is a hobby that's meant to be fun and give happiness, not misery and suffering.
Well said! Yes, I'll be taking my time to figure this out. A great problem to have and I'm having fun 😉👍
I say hold off on making any moves and honeymoon with your new watches. No need to rush into anything.
My advice would be to get a Barton’s silicon elite rubber strap for the BB54. They come with a short strap as well as a medium/long for the non-buckle side. You can use the short strap for your wrist with your BB54 and I think it will help minimize that gap. Super comfortable strap with very close strap holes to get a great fit. And they aren’t that expensive. I think it’s worth a shot.
I like the PO the most of your divers followed by the BB54. I wonder if you’d get a better fit with the BB54 on its bracelet.
Some great advice here, my friend! Thank you!
Sanjay, did you see the new Seiko SJE093? It’s a 38 mm 62MAS re-edition that is likely to give all the watches here a run for their money.
I did see that! Eager to see it in person 😁
You are very articulate when speaking abt watches. Made this vid very good. What did you find wrong with the rubber strap? Was actually thinking of getting the 54 in rubber. Thanks
That's very kind of you to say, Thank you!
I didn't love the way it felt after about a week...I'm more of a sailcloth or leather kind of guy, though.
I couldn't part with the po ,it's beautiful. The bronze 58 would have to go. Love the 54 but I see what you're saying about the fit.
Yeah....it's a hard choice....I'm going to take my time making it lol
If you wanna sell that PO, let me know!
Killer lineup bra… the BB bronze is my grail.
My man with another great video 👏
You're too kind! Thanks so much, Miguel!
Keep the PlanetOcean, it looks amazing!
My BB58 wears like a dream on my 6.5 wrist.
Overthink much? Wow!
Planet Ocean is clearly the best.
Very nice video. Omega is stunning.
Quick question Sanjay - how does PO8800's wearability compare to the modern Rolex submariner? I am on the fence about jumping ship to the sub from my black PO 8800 but haven't had the time to compare both pieces. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
I have a wrist span of 16.5 cm, if that helps at all :D
I wear it for almost 12 months nonstop daily I even sleep with it. I dont even know I have it.
Hey, great question! I don't have enough time with the Sub to comment on this without some uncertainty. However, from what I recall, the PO is a more comfortable watch (provided you have a small wrist) and the case (and movement) finishing on the PO is really nice!
The BB54 is too cool to sell.
I love the P.O.
Always interested in these 2 watches, thanks for the comparison.
Thanks for watching!
What kind of bracelet is on the BB54? Brand?
Artem Sailcloth with their deployant buckle 👍
I thought you had a black 39mm PO, did you trade for blue?
Sure did…I miss the black some days but the blue is great!
@@engineer_wannabe The summer blue one really caught my attention, ever thinking about getting that one?
The BB54 looks awesome on sailcloth.
It really does! So much better than the rubber, in my opinion
interesting video, thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Nice comparison Sanjay
Thanks so much, my friend!
Tudor vs longines.
Omega vs Rolex
Omega >>>>> Tudor 😅
I mean....you're not wrong 🙂
