I wouldn't say balls, this court should have in all reality acted close to the very start of this genocide, but western politics have a major influence on how it behaves. the ongoing genocide finally forced their hand in order to maintain a modicum of credibility. If arrest warrants are to be issued to the leaders of all the parties in the war in the Israel Palestine conflict, then, not only arrest warrants should be issued to the leaders of Israel and Hamas, but also to Biden, Blinken, Sunak and Cameron because USA and UK are also participants in the war.
Furthermore, the same principle should be applied to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. An arrest warrant has already been issued to Putin. Zelensky should also be issued an arrest warrant.

Judges can be wrong. Still, what constitutes a "legal act of resistance" is likely open to interpretation, for example I can protest laws that I think are unfair, but I can't protest one law by breaking an unrelated law (the judge is unlikely to sympathize).
