Feel free to use this Redemption Code: W7X8I0J1K2L3 ( Topological Acceleration Band*3, Lost Crystals*3, Credits 20K ). Amphoreus is just getting started and what we have seen so far was an excellent introduction to the world and setup to the insanity I am sure is to come. Really looking forward to it. Notes, Additions, & Corrections:- - I am aware that Oronyx called "Mother" after the Trailblazer used March 7th's Camera. However, I intentionally excluded that portion from the video as it would have been a big tangent. - A lot of people have been asking why I am saying that Mydei and Phainon will inherit Nikador and Kephale's Coreflames respectively. This is explained in the video, however, in case my explanation is insufficient I highly recommend you check "As I Have Written" with Mem.
Phainon is being built up to be the "Hero" but two things. One, that's a classic avenue to twist into him not being the hero and his journey to cope with that. Two, this is a hero in a classic Greek and Roman epic. That means there's a high chance that he's gonna either die or have an unspeakable tragic happen to him that takes him out of the story.
He will become our enemy just like in every other Hoyo games, but for a moment, then he will surrendered. And there is a theory that amphoreus is combination of HSR and Fate worlds(because fate collab will be in main story patches) and the place where we place titans remains maybe Holy grail that will summon heroes when we get all 12 core flames, this is my theory of how Fate collab can be canon.
@@GerriFuryman I don't buy that theory because to me it's definitely not gonna be that the Rebirth of Genensis is a summoning or how they bring the Fate collab in. They were pretty specific even with the prophetic flowery language that the coreflames will trigger it and some is going to happen with Amphoreus itself.
@Toksyuryel so what! Mavuika didn't die, and himeko is still kicking. just becs they are "copies" that doesn't mean they have the exactly same personality or fate, I am getting kind of sick of hearing this
Don’t get me wrong, I like Amphoreus, but the full story of Nikador and Eurypon you discussed is so much better than what we saw in the Trailblaze Mission. I wonder why HoYo didn't just show us that stuff directly instead of hiding it in random collectables, which you must go out of your way to find. I find this especially weird given how this Lore isn’t of some side character like King Deshret, but rather it’s directly related to two major active characters-Nikador and Mydei-one of whom will be playable next patch…
Hoyo do this in every times, best stories are always hidden away in their games, though i agree that it's weird since they are literally main characters compared to it being usually npc's or just characters that you never see
because hoyoverse is a bad story teller when it comes to their main quests, none of the main quests save for maybe ZZZ is good, the pacing is bad, the dialogue is horrible the story telling is pure 🍑
I disagree. Aside from Gorgo having killed a lion and later dying at the hands of her king, everything else in the video was in the main quest (Nikador being good, the king going mad, Mydei killing his father, etc). And the bits about Gorgo aren't in easily overlooked readables and the like; they are 4 very visible memory fragments (those glimpses into the past you can see by interacting with the blue crystals around the map) which does require a second run through Castrum Kremnos, but you kinda should be doing that anyway to get the chests/puzzles/sidequests that only unlock after the story. I have some issues with the story, but in this particular case, I think the division between mandatory and optional content was fine. We got the most relevant details in the main mission, and we can be rewarded with some extra context (the queen's role) by exploring a bit. There's even a marked quest that takes you right next to one of the 4 memories, clueing you into their existence outside of Okhema.
I can't believe your video about March 7th being a Spartan might turn out to be true that's so funny man 😂 It's absolutely incredible that you were able to predict this WAY before we knew anything about Amphoreus.
We still don't know if she is related to Amphoreus. Her condition could simply be a result of being exposed to a large amount of Fuli's power around Amphoreus since Fuli is the Aeon who sealed March's memories and The Remembrance plays a major role in Amphoreus's Fate.
I had no idea how much Lore I missed about Nikador… Watching you explain his story made me feel like I was playing another game during the Trailblaze Mission. Everything surrounding this Titan now makes so much more sense with all this added context regarding Mydei’s father and the people of Castrum Kremnos.
when you said that phainon will probably get the worldbearer's core it made so much sense why he's set up to be "The Hero"!! also i dont remember if you mentioned but the book suggests that phainon is not his real name... so we can surely expect exciting plot twist with this guy lol. and thanks so much for the cool video, i understood a lot!
I suspect Nikado is going to reject him and take Mydeimo in his place. Phainon is going to get Kaphale's(World Barer) core flame. They're personalities and their roles a quit similar. Both bare a have responsibility and are core members of their factions.
Fun fact, when you choose to not help Phainon after the interrogation scene you get an ending credit scene where he is listed: "Phainon as ???" So it is very likely that's not his real name 0:
I find it interesting how the 4 categories dividing the 12 titans are essentially genshin artifact system. Creation: Life; Calamity: Death; Fate: Time; Foundation: Space. The Aeon trio might as well be the logos. It's just a fun comparison to me but it may hide something bigger
I remember you mentioning a year ago, in one of your earlier videos that you think March 7th is a very peculiar and intriguing character lore-wise... and you told everyone to "Watch this Space" regarding March 7th and the lore-bomb we're receiving now. You clocked it way before there was ever a mention of Amphoreus in the game. 😂
Honestly , Amphoreus is building up to be one of those Arcs that people will revere/remember as one of the best in the whole game when it’s all said and done …the first act alone has been insane and I’m literally feigning for more story 😂I cant wait for the next act to come out
Phainon will likely become an enemy at some point but temporarily only. I think it would have been a permanent change if the astral express never showed up to help. Already we have stopped him from doing something major that would be worth more than the fate of the world and instead of them fighting to get Oronyx’s core flame and trying to use it, we just got remembrance powers instead which made things much easier. So I think we are changing the path he would have taken just enough so that he doesn’t become a permanent enemy
While Elysia's personality would make people think that her Signet being called 'Ego' to be fitting, I believe it's kind of a bad translation of what is most likely connected to the concept of 'Atman' from Hinduism. The distinction might be important going forwards if they keep it for Cyrene(though since Amphoreus is Greek, they might adapt it to certain somethings from Plato...)
19:43 we already got a hint from acheron she said caelus was like kevin and stelle kiana (not names mentioned but yk) My theory that acherons kevin or kiana are actully from takanagahara and landed in izumo somehow (genshin crimsenson moon dynisty kind of shiz)
@ All the characters in a region and all the different factions in ZZZ don't really feel the same. The former feels like the characters naturally belong to the same team, while the latter was pretty much an ad-hook team-up of different parties that don't really have anything to do with one another most of the time.
I'm pretty sure tribbios curse has to do with something happening to them whenever they use their power to open a gate, they repeat multiple times in the story how exhausted trianne (the one currently in charge of opening the gates) is after using her powers to transport us to castrum kremnos and when you point out how childish she is compared to the other two, I don't quite remember who responds to us saying that she sacrificed a lot, also I think in the aglaea pov part of the story when tribbie is talking to aglaea she mentions something about trianne passing down her power to trinon (paraphrasing) not to mention that in the book where we gather information about the chrysos heirs it says there used to be many more of them before it became only 3 of them left so my theory is that each time they open a gate they are cursed to lose a part of themselves (maybe their wisdom or maturity? which would explain their childlike appearance) until they can't use their power anymore which is then passed to another copy of tribbios until all of them get exhausted eventually
There are ingame texts that hint that Tribbie was once a high priestress but her "defect" made her split into three by which she and therefore also her age got cut into thirds, thats why they are childlike
The plot of amphoreus seems really very interesting, both in terms of characters, culture and inspirations. It has the potential to be one of the most fascinating plots that Hoyoverse has ever created, let's hope that in the next versions the storytelling improves (and when I say "improves" I mean so by a lot).
Well, it's not exactly the best but at least not as god awful as Penacony. I still want to kick the divine washbasin into the abyss though for wasting my time on something three character already explained before it. And maybe give a light push to Herta to follow it.
@tamaratoth8326 i agree it was so pointless, tbh as much as i like some aspects of the game im thinking of just quitting because of small annoying stuff they do like that one, or stalling story or erasing depth from characters
Black Swan implies this when she says that the Three Aeons are fighting to see who gets to write Amphoreus's history. In addition to that Himeko says the following:- " _"Three Paths interweave and fetter Amphoreus, co-authoring the fate of the world." Ordinary Pathstriders aren't known to leave traces in the mirror, so if what you said is true..._ "
while playing the quest i was very confused why they were pushing Phainon to inherit Nikador's coreflame when Mydei is right there? like, that's the titan where he was from and he clearly embodies strife more than anyone??? the whole time im just like ??????
Didn't Phainon inherit Nikador's coreflame? I am pretty sure Mydei refused it and then Phainon took it, as planned from the start. And also, Tribbios was way more than 3, if I understood their story correctly. It's just that only 3 are left. And probably going to be even less very soon as opening the gates seems to take a lot out of them (in a permanent fashion)
pretty sure Phainon just took the coreflame and cant weild it's powers yet (he did say he didnt feel anything when he took it) hence the extra "test" at the end. we dont know if he passes or fails lol it's up in the air
@rave012 the test is a standard part. Taking the test means he accepted taking the coreflame. As far as I remember, it was a do or die. Either he wins the test and inherits the coreflame (even if he doesn't feel anything yet) or he just dies and the next heir can try.
@kushagragupta7051 was it? i thought it said, paraphrase "your strength and character have thoroughly been tested, yet your will still wavers" so i took that as meaning him disappearing to the void was an extra trial, since if he didnt waver he'd inherit Nikador's divinity then and there? anyways even if he fails they wont kill him off, he looks way too important
i genuinly dont understand why people dont like this patch... so many complains that make no sense, so much noise from people clearly not playing the game and experiencing this story... baffling, honestly
1:53 funnily enough, it's not the craziest sentence you've said when making videos of Hoyo's story shenanigans in its purest form. And Trailblazer still can one up this crazy line with their snark of the era when we barely went through the intro 😅 9:35 another reminder Hoyo loved being cheeky and will call you out when you're not sharp enough to notice the analogy or inside jokes 🤣 15:00 as hi3 captain... I'm ready for extra trauma. Let that lore fill me up since it's definitely gonna feel like the Kaslana family story one way or another 💀
Thank you so much for this video. As someone who loves history and especially Greek and Roman, I wanted to be really interested in the story - but hated the dogshit storytelling. This also is an excellent opportunity for your channel. If you continue making these types of videos after every patch, I know I’ll want to be one of the first ones in line to watch them.
Castorice and Phainon are by far the two characters I am looking forward to the most. Lore-wise it is Phainon while gameplay-wise it is Castorice since her Dragon Memosprite will work well with Sunday + Mem perma advance combo. I cannot wait to play this team.
I'm still wondering why they chose to make nikador's forces have the same attire as Dr Ratio There are so many things they could have done, wo why did they especially chose that?
how do you feel about the story telling and presentation in Amphoreus? I've heard there's a lot of standing and talking with minimal character movements / lack of shifting camera angles, black screen texts describing the scene instead of showing it, as well as reused assets from older locations like Belobog, instead of unique, one time locations like it is the case with genshin.
I don't think I can provide an entirely unbiased account. I really like Amphoreus due to its Greek and Roman influences, Phainon, and Sunday’s inclusion in the story, so I’m naturally biased in its favour. However, many people have criticized aspects of the story, such as pacing issues and the inclusion of very important information in side quests or random items without mentioning said information in the main story where they are relevant. While these concerns are valid, they haven’t bothered me personally so far. I also haven’t noticed any "useless dialogue" in the main story. While an 8-10 hour introduction is quite long, most of the information provided is directly relevant to the lore and story.
7:00 I’m pretty sure Oronyx called for Mother but towards the Camera/March, she did not do anything when they first arrived and saw them. Only when the flash went off. And then I’m more curious about if she called Mother as herself as a mother or she called someone else when sending March. + when she asked for the Sky father Kephale, it was when the Eon gazed at us. I’m curious if Kephale had some connection to that… Especially because titan kins have Harmony/Sunday colors There is for sure a reason for the color scheme connection and reason why we speak the same language
Definitely an Emanator of Fuli. Maybe Fuli charge her with the responsibility of recording the Namelesses adventures and journey, probably because Terminus(Finality) shared a prophecy with Fuli about the Nameless' role in the future to come.
March is either Finality or Remembrance. We will see what happens between her and Fuli since Fuli is supposed to also be one of the strongest Aeons up there with Qlipoth and Nanook.
Hi! So I might be on crack or not, but can you talk about paths and what we find in amphorias? The reason why I am saying this is becs of this specific line "Hidden beneath the brilliance of Erudition and Remembrance, yet possessing enough power to rival the other two Paths. It could be the Equilibrium, the Enigmata, or perhaps the Permanence? I have no clue at all." What I want to emphasise here is that, black Swan is no ordinary person, she wasn't born yesterday, so why would she include permanence. To get what I mean, let's talk about the path of Permanence and what we know about it in general. There is a lot of important things I want to point out about Permanence and why it's suggestion by black Swan means a lot. People walk on to paths and paths they walk upon depends on their thoughts, ideas, actions etc. Some paths have aeons, basically the master/ruler of the paths(concept) But Paths can be aeonless. The Permanence had Loong that died(or something, dissappeard who knows) so the path is presumably aeonless. Moreover, the path of permanence split itself in 2 or something, into propagation and who knows what the other one is.(theory say abundance with makes sense, but from what I've read, it was confirmed only propagation) Now the implications here are, if the path split itself up, then is it still permanence anymore? And if it's not, then why would black Swan bring it? Can a path that split up and divided into others, still exist on it's own? If so, with the help of Penacony this begs the question, if a split path can still be considered in itself the path, then a path assimilated in an another, can still be solely considered itself? Order was asimilate into harmony, so does that mean, you can still consider order itself, itself, instead of harmony? Now, since aeons (kind off) are the paths itself, then does that mean that ena is still alive and well inside xipe? If yes, then bringing her out is not impossible, moreover, this means you can't kill an aeon by assimilation, and you can't kill an aeon with an another aeon, reason being, that propagation isn't dead, just trapped in amber. So the 2 ways of killing aeons that where shown by kafka, might be false in the sense of actually killing an aeon.....so then only the 3rd option in the sense of killing should actually kill an aeon. Quick note: what I said above about penacony, order and harmony, it's not much of a theory as it's piecing things toghter, that part is something you shouldn't gave to much thought as it's off topic Coming back to permanence, Black Swan suggested that this path might be strong enough to fend off amphorias from both Erudition and/or Remembrance, but what does this even suggest, Remembrance is an Aeonless path(as far as we know) so how exactly is it possible for this path to keep at bay 2 other paths with aeons? What exactly it means that this planet has 3 paths intertwined? How many people on the planet follow what path? What emanators are on that planet? How many aeon gazed over it? As herta says later, we can only presume that either if it means all of the above or not, we can say certain that the last question is true. So should we presume that Loong might or might now have gazes once amphorias? But that must have thousands of years ago, how could it still be relevant today? It really makes some food for thoughts about how paths actually works. Coming to 2 off(or on) topic things: 1st why do I presume that Loong is gone? Well simply becs propagation got separated from permanence 2nd As I said above people walk on to paths and get paths powers, now when it comes to Aeonless paths, could you be so much into a path Philosophie that you get you become an emanator or become an aeon at that point? Now, I had more to say and a much bigger idea about Permanence than what I said here....but I kind of....forgot it....I think I should have written faster, but ye, I hope you're reading my comment and could make a video about paths, but not right now or like when do you want, the amphorias arc is still 8 patches long after all. I also wnat to add that i am so happy, i was so excited for you covering the world Than you for reading this and have a great day!
I thought about what Black Swan said for a while before making this video. There is a very strong case to be made for Long, Mythus, and HooH. The presence of Dan Heng along with the Trailblazer might be foreshadowing Long's influence since Imbibitor Lunae is a scion of the Permanence who once was the High Elder of the Xianzhou Luofu's Vidyadhara. Alternatively, I can easily see HooH, the Equilibrium or Mythus, the Enigmata as the third Aeon too.
When you open the book, each of the flamechasers have a specific positions over the god symbols. Phainon is Kephali, and Mydei is Nikador. Meaning Phainon will mostlikely lose the trial of Nikador
I like the story. I will be skipping Uglaea and the annoying science witch for Phainon and Cyrene (if we end up getting humanoid Cyrene). Mydeimos is cool, but as shown in this video most of the cool stuff in his story was put into random items you have to find rather than the main story.
That's impossible, everything HoYoverse does is intentionally interconnected thematically (they purposefully do this for marketing reasons). Therefore, to fully grasp the message/direction the writers are going in you need to possess some level of understanding when it comes to all of their games.
Amphoreous is amazing when a good storyteller like you is breaking it down. But the truth is when I play hsr I have to deal with their method of storytelling. And its ass.
im glad some people enjoy it! but tbh i can not physically bring myself to sit through a 10 hour long quest with probably most of the dialogue being bloat nonsense with appareanctly more black screens over texts than ever before, there is no story in this world which needs 10 hours of set up through repeated dialogue

Black Swan implies this when she says that the Three Aeons are fighting to see who gets to write Amphoreus's history. In addition to that Himeko says the following:-
" _"Three Paths interweave and fetter Amphoreus, co-authoring the fate of the world." Ordinary Pathstriders aren't known to leave traces in the mirror, so if what you said is true..._ "
Love the AC:Odyssey music so fitting for the new world
For HI3 players, this act was such a ptsd smack on my head
while playing the quest i was very confused why they were pushing Phainon to inherit Nikador's coreflame when Mydei is right there? like, that's the titan where he was from and he clearly embodies strife more than anyone??? the whole time im just like ??????
I kept misreading Bepsis as Bepis when I read that file lol
I thought the 3rd was nanook cuz of the hands and golden blood
Black Swan mentions Long, Mythus, and HooH.
Also, what Nanook has is more along the lines of liquid star fire nonsense rather than 'Golden Blood'.
i genuinly dont understand why people dont like this patch... so many complains that make no sense, so much noise from people clearly not playing the game and experiencing this story... baffling, honestly
1:53 funnily enough, it's not the craziest sentence you've said when making videos of Hoyo's story shenanigans in its purest form. And Trailblazer still can one up this crazy line with their snark of the era when we barely went through the intro 😅
9:35 another reminder Hoyo loved being cheeky and will call you out when you're not sharp enough to notice the analogy or inside jokes 🤣
15:00 as hi3 captain... I'm ready for extra trauma. Let that lore fill me up since it's definitely gonna feel like the Kaslana family story one way or another 💀
I fucking love your narration.
I wonder if Castorices Dragon half is called Polluxfire.
March- Mother
Caelus- Father
Firefly- Angry
She will set the seas ablaze
IDK But Castorice is the best part of Amphoreus 🧙♂️🍚🔮🌺🦋
Castorice and Phainon are by far the two characters I am looking forward to the most. Lore-wise it is Phainon while gameplay-wise it is Castorice since her Dragon Memosprite will work well with Sunday + Mem perma advance combo. I cannot wait to play this team.
Damnn ASC Odyssey OST fits right in 👍👍👍👍
What if the 12 core flames are fragments of the third Aeon? 👀
7:40 that's nanook before he became an aeon change my mind
His symbol is literally almost identical to that of Akivili...
Has your mind changed?
I agree, Nanook could be bad Kevin/Phainon
Mem: GIGANTAMAX!!!
I'm still wondering why they chose to make nikador's forces have the same attire as Dr Ratio There are so many things they could have done, wo why did they especially chose that?
1:29 Nice.
how do you feel about the story telling and presentation in Amphoreus?
But there's a catch🎣🎣🎣
7:00 I’m pretty sure Oronyx called for Mother but towards the Camera/March, she did not do anything when they first arrived and saw them. Only when the flash went off.
And then I’m more curious about if she called Mother as herself as a mother or she called someone else when sending March.
+ when she asked for the Sky father Kephale, it was when the Eon gazed at us.
I’m curious if Kephale had some connection to that…
Especially because titan kins have Harmony/Sunday colors
There is for sure a reason for the color scheme connection and reason why we speak the same language
Sorry but the Gorho who kill the Lion with bare hands is not the same Gorgo who found Castrum Kremmos and not the mother of Greek Gilgamesh?
Thanks dude. Who do you think March 7th is? Emanator or ex-aeon or titan
I'm not done playing it so I can't watch yet, but so far, this is so extremely Genshin Impact
Hey, do you think that Phainon being a Kevin Kaslana expy hints at Phanes in Genshin possibly being a Kevin expy as well?
I have made several videos discussing this topic. The latest one is called "The Tsaritsa Seeks to Overthrow Logic".
@@DragonMJE cool thx

Does love have an aeon?
Xipe or Idrila depending on what kind of love.
2:48 can anyone tells me how we came to this conclusion? I frankly don't remember droidhead being mentioned anywhere
Thx in advance
Enigmata is strong in amphoreus
Hi! So I might be on crack or not, but can you talk about paths and what we find in amphorias? The reason why I am saying this is becs of this specific line
"Hidden beneath the brilliance of Erudition and Remembrance, yet possessing enough power to rival the
other two Paths. It could be the Equilibrium, the Enigmata, or perhaps the Permanence? I have no clue at
all."
What I want to emphasise here is that, black Swan is no ordinary person, she wasn't born yesterday, so why would she include permanence.
To get what I mean, let's talk about the path of Permanence and what we know about it in general. There is a lot of important things I want to point out about Permanence and why it's suggestion by black Swan means a lot.
People walk on to paths and paths they walk upon depends on their thoughts, ideas, actions etc.
Some paths have aeons, basically the master/ruler of the paths(concept)
But Paths can be aeonless.
The Permanence had Loong that died(or something, dissappeard who knows) so the path is presumably aeonless.
Moreover, the path of permanence split itself in 2 or something, into propagation and who knows what the other one is.(theory say abundance with makes sense, but from what I've read, it was confirmed only propagation)
Now the implications here are, if the path split itself up, then is it still permanence anymore?
Quick note: what I said above about penacony, order and harmony, it's not much of a theory as it's piecing things toghter, that part is something you shouldn't gave to much thought as it's off topic
Coming back to permanence, Black Swan suggested that this path might be strong enough to fend off amphorias from both Erudition and/or Remembrance, but what does this even suggest, Remembrance is an Aeonless path(as far as we know) so how exactly is it possible for this path to keep at bay 2 other paths with aeons? What exactly it means that this planet has 3 paths intertwined? How many people on the planet follow what path? What emanators are on that planet? How many aeon gazed over it? As herta says later, we can only presume that either if it means all of the above or not, we can say certain that the last question is true. So should we presume that Loong might or might now have gazes once amphorias? But that must have thousands of years ago, how could it still be relevant today? It really makes some food for thoughts about how paths actually works.
Coming to 2 off(or on) topic things:
1st why do I presume that Loong is gone? Well simply becs propagation got separated from permanence
2nd As I said above people walk on to paths and get paths powers, now when it comes to Aeonless paths, could you be so much into a path Philosophie that you get you become an emanator or become an aeon at that point?
Now, I had more to say and a much bigger idea about Permanence than what I said here....but I kind of....forgot it....I think I should have written faster, but ye, I hope you're reading my comment and could make a video about paths, but not right now or like when do you want, the amphorias arc is still 8 patches long after all.
I also wnat to add that i am so happy, i was so excited for you covering the world
Than you for reading this and have a great day!

Phainon is the inheritor of Nikador the Strife Titan coreflame don't he? Why you are telling that he is the inheritor of Kephalie coreflame.
26:43
@@GitGud-y9bBut still how don't Phainon go on the trial of Nikador Coreflame and we have seen it in the game also?
When you open the book, each of the flamechasers have a specific positions over the god symbols. Phainon is Kephali, and Mydei is Nikador. Meaning Phainon will mostlikely lose the trial of Nikador
@@Nexús-1000 he'll fail
It's almost a guarantee that he'll fail the trail. And after it, whatever flaw he was hiding from Aglea will show itself.
I like the story. I will be skipping Uglaea and the annoying science witch for Phainon and Cyrene (if we end up getting humanoid Cyrene).
Mydeimos is cool, but as shown in this video most of the cool stuff in his story was put into random items you have to find rather than the main story.
I have a suggestion. While explaining don't compare it with Genshin Impact. I don't really care what happens in it. Just explain HSR .
Hiiii
The presentation of this story is terrible
The Mavuika slandering is much deserved. Hoyo musnt get away with it, not even in star rail
Star Rail Himeko is very cool thankfully
im glad some people enjoy it! but tbh i can not physically bring myself to sit through a 10 hour long quest with probably most of the dialogue being bloat nonsense with appareanctly more black screens over texts than ever before, there is no story in this world which needs 10 hours of set up through repeated dialogue
Amphoreus is nice
Shame Trailblazers being there ruin it.
Every story on every planet suffers for us being in it. Not ideal.
If we weren’t at any of the worlds, then there wouldn’t a game to begin with.
