I agree, GIVE US MORE THAN 5 MATCHES There is no reason howdy vs gable, Ludwig vs la, or just a completely other match with someone like Ilja couldn’t make the show. PLEs used to run 4+ hours on some occasions and tbh I never saw too much complaining about it.
The argument that people give is QUALITY > QUANTITY as if Ilja and LA Knight on the card isn’t quality 😭 Atleast give me Howdy and Gable, the hottest thing that was on Raw
I didn't have much interest in the PLE at first but my favorites were Punk/Drew and Gunther/Randy! Also, I agree with the mixed tag team match. As much as I love Rhea, she made Liv look like a rookie lol
here’s a reminder that the judgement day are tag team champions, and they look like 60 OVR wrestlers. i thought they would at least put Balor on the same power level as rhea and DP
To be fair, crowd noise is a HUGE part of making the show fall into mediocrity Bash in Berlin was a decent wrestling show but it lacked storytelling to hook the viewer into the matches that was on the card
the way rhea is being booked against liv right now should tell us how much wwe is going to be in trouble if they put the belt back on rhea because the raw women's roster is lacking credible heels right now especially since damage control are now babyfaces and for the time being stuck in the tag division
Unfortunately WWE hasn’t done anything with the Raw women’s division to make them seem anywhere near the threat level of Rhea You either make some trades because all the credible people are on SmackDown, or you just don’t give it to Rhea at all
@@SlamCentral_ if i'm not mistaken this was also the same issue with her booking as a heel champion last year because she didn't have any credible babyface opponents. and this just my thoughts. this is probably why they went the route of turning her babyface once nia jax came back to the wwe & starting feuding with each other because nia jax was obviously going to be a monster heel
I honestly see the Judgment Day actually becoming a threat once this Terror Twin debut phase is over. Dominic and Liv losing is perfectly fine for their characters since they're cowardly heels, and nobody takes Carlito and JD seriously anyways, but once Finn starts becoming more proactive as a leader and faces Damian 1v1 is when things get into high gear
I strongly Disagree with the Judgement Day Opinion Because Them not working with Damien or Rhea which you could say held the group together is on purpose because we are seeing how they are failing without Rhea and Damien holding them together and they were already building that when Rhea was out. The Dom thing it’s not for everyone so I respect your opinion on that.
The issue with creative rn is they have a lot of interesting ideas and stars they can use for awesome feuds, but everything is being slowed down and they're stalling. You can see it in almost every feud where the next chapter in the story is in sight, but they don't pull the trigger and just keep waiting. Maybe everything is simmering till Bad Blood who knows
I have never liked finishers. I see them as signature moves the wrestler has trained specifically on, but they are not special in any other sense and may not always pan out. This position is basically because the concept of a strike that can "finish" someone should be used as early as possible in a real fight, and is why actual fights starts with high kinetic moves and ends in brawling on the floor. I get why they are there and the drama theater of the finisher, but I prefer Gunther style where he just does whatever he can as a finisher instead of some predetermined moveset. Well, he also does that, but its not very defined that he will.
The card was good but personally this was my least favourite ple of the year but it was still good which just shows the quality of the ples this year. Great crowd a unique main event which was slow but told a good story. I didn't really like the 4 turnbackle strap match.I felt it should've of been a normal match but has a strap. Tag match was okay but the story as awful. Dirty com match was good fun but com should've won. And the main event was quality. Plus the crowd was electric for it. Berlin should definitely get another pls next year. And it proves that we should get mania in London because England france and germany proved that Europeans are hyped for these shows. 7\10 show.
It was a waste of a PLE. It’s clear they just did it because they are used to doing it. Same with No Mercy the next night. Only a couple of matches were worth a PLE. They have more good PLEs than bad but I think they may hit that Marvel wall soon where they forgot what made them amazing. Forget belts. Forget stars. It’s the stories that people care most about. Belts are accessories. Stars are nice to look at. They keep fumbling stories.
@@RShaun I wouldn’t say it was a waste of a PLE It was going to be a great show regardless but WWE is definitely lacking in the storytelling department If you gave me Rock vs Roman, I would be hyped, but if there is no story, then I would wonder why tf we’re even getting the match in the first place
What was your favorite match from Bash in Berlin?
I completely forgot to give Randy and Gunther a rating
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Damien and rhea vs liv and dom
Prob Punk vs drew

It was a great PLE all around
The stories were the only stinkers heading into it

A lot of people mistake crowd noise for a good show.

I think it's the bells & whistles/ Mainstream branding that's carrying WWE shows. It feels like junk food for the brain most of the time.

I don't know what more you want, i feel like we're asking too much out of everything.
What more am I asking for other than 2 more matches added to the PLE?
And better stories so I can get hooked
We definitely need 6 matches on ple
I feel like 6-7 matches is the sweet spot for a PLE

I hope rhea doesn't win at bad blood, since that would create the same problem cody has with not having credible challengers
L take on the judgement day match ngl
This was the most predictable PPV of 2024
I predict Kevin Owen’s will turn heel on this smackdown and we get Cody vs KO pt 2 😮 I hope not
