- Welcome to day 31 of the Inktober Tangles for 2023! Today’s pattern is Pokeroot by Zentangle, Inc. Pokeroot is one of the original 102 tangles of Zentangle. It is a favorite botanical and filler pattern and we see it used often. This ends our Inktober challenge for 2023. It has been a great learning experience for me and I’m happy that I was able to complete all the videos. Many thanks to all who have watched and left such kind comments for my videos.

I am new to Zentangle and have enjoyed your videos. I especially appreciate the extra time you spent in preparation by drawing variations of each tangle on your workbook page. I was so surprised to see the nails again, was not surprised that they came off so quickly. Lol I can't stand having long nails myself. I watched almost all your videos now and tried a few. Now that I'm feeling better I'm going to start doing more. Thank you so much for all your instruction, and look forward to watching more.

Congrats on the 10K milestone. That's amazing. Your videos are so helpful, just straightforward and not perfect. I get the Poke Root and the Poke Leaf confused. This will be good practice on the final day. I used Poke Leaf yesterday coming out of my triangle. Thanks again for the idea for W-2 for the string behind It has been a good way for me to do Inktober Tangles and it starts me in a new craft colored book, so lots of tangles to come.

As a side note, for the first time, I realized that Poke Root and Poke Leaf are each actually one one word. Pokeroot and Pokeleaf. 🙃 In all these years I wrote it the wrong way, lol!
