Hey guys! There's time for ONE LAST Spooktacular installment of Weekend Wankshop this Halloween season, and this is a great one to end on! On episode 152 here, you're going to learn my sweet fingerstyle arrangement of Laurie's Theme, written by John Carpenter for his immortal classic flick Halloween! This theme is used all throughout the movie soundtrack, probably just as much as the iconic main theme. I've always loved how spooky and haunting this one is.
It was originally played on piano and synth, and making some of those tightly voiced chords happen on guitar is BRUTAL!!!! Stretch those hands out real good before you tackle this one, its a punisher. A lot of these chords would fit right into the Allan Holdsworth playbook!
