- The Bible teaches in Ephesians 5:25 that husband should love their wives the way Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her, but how do we do that. This message teaches men the how behind the what, and challenges them to step up and lead and love the way they've been created to lead and love.
As a man that’s been involved in the streets/sin all my life. Cheating and just. But 7 mths giving my life to the lord I’ve learned sooooo much. And the word of God has changed me. This right here, is key. This word from God has forcefully In body my soul. I’ll let this dictate My view on living a wife right
Pastor, What a powerful PRIDELESS message! I so appreciate your transparency, honesty, humility, and willingness to admit and share that the brothers need to put their pride aside and grow up. The PRIDE factor has been soooooo destructive in many homes. The worst part, as you mentioned, is the husbands seeing their wives as the problem instead of recognizing the work of the enemy to destroy families, then waging war against the devil and putting him on the run. No protection, no covering; husbands putting their responsibility on the wives, but have their chests stuck out like I AM THE MAN. It is VERY challenging to admire and respect a cowardly man! Help us, O mighty God!!!!!!
We need to love our wives like Jesus laid down his life for his bride the church.

The problem of your country , and mine and the whole Western world is not a lack of godly men in the home but a profusion of REBELLIOUS wives who bring violence and disorder where they should bring peace and harmony.

Powerful message. The only thing I wanted to put my input on is that yes we are to love our wife, but we are to also stand on our square and keep them in check in a godly masculine manner when the time comes for it. There are times to be quiet and let it roll off your back but there are times to speak up as well.

@@carolb1822 yes. Not in an abusive manner, but rather standing on our square and setting healthy boundaries. Respect is earned that way. I don't see a woman truly respecting a man that they can manipulate or gaslight easily.

Thank you for this word. I am having so many problems with my husband. He wants to be right all the time. He will fight with me to be right. He speaks down to me. He is mean at times and is aggitated and irritable. He has no patience at all. I had this on whilst he is in the room with me

Christ REBUKES and PUNISHES his church if needed.
Just take a look at the way he says to some churches things like What I have AGAINST you.
But a husband is not supposed to have the same language ?
Jesus does not put up with her bad behaviour as this pastor tells husbands to do.
So , it is in no way loving LIKE Christ but like a simp who will sooner or later face a dead bedroom .
A wife is supposed to bring GOOD and not evil to her husband everyday of her life.
It is the woman who was made for the man . Not the man for the woman.

Jesus said that to the Jews who did not know what they were doing because they did not recognise him as their messiah .
But the church has no excuse. The church knows that he he is the King she must bow down to.
Exactly the same with the wife who must regard her husband as her lord because there is no greater authority after God's than a husband's and a father's.
The church and wives have no excuse. They pefectly know what they do.
When I said YES to the man who proposed me , I recognised him as my husband. So I have no excuse if I rebel against him and my rebellion cannot go unpunished unlike what all the feminist wolves disguised as Christians now preach.

Love has become some kind of emasculating tyranny in the hands of rebellious women and the church system is complicit of it.
Telling men to be loving husbands is complete waste of time if the wife is not obligated to submission.
Marriage has been turned into a burden and a hell for men on purpose because SATAN perfectly knows that marriage is God's solution for avoiding fornication. 1 Corinthians 7:4 .
The way God's vision of marriage has been turned into some horrifying wife worshipping by those who claim to serve Him ( do they really ? God only knows) is beyond understanding.
Unfortunately Isabella there is some truth to what you are saying. I know many Christian men who Only marry because they don't want to go to hell for fornication, and that is where the problem lies. You should marry because you love someone and not because you can't stop sinning. Get delivered then get married or else you'll have sexual issues in your marriage that may lead to divorce.

Sorry but the Bible does not say that at all . It says
Get married in order to avoid fornication. And it says that to both men and women.
In another letter (Thessalonians I think) , Paul urges the young widows to get married because they are caught up in voluptuouness .
It is that is written . Paul did not get married because he could control his urges (probably because he was an old man as he says in one of his epistle ).
Love is NOT the reason why men , or women get married according to the Bible.
To avoid fornication , let every man have his wife and every woman her husband

There is NO sexual issue in marriage when a man goes to his wife regularly as GOD wants it.
Proverbs 5:18 tells married men to rejoice in their wives at all time.

Marriage is GOD's solution for not fornicating.
Once you have free access to sex as GOD wants it , you are SAFE.

No matter how hard I search for that stuff in the Bible , I never see one passage saying that men should pray for their wives.
This is all made up by that false feminist churchianity.
The only example that comes to my mind is that of Isaac who prayed the Lord for Rebecca because she was not fertile.
But this has nothing to do with what is preached today and all the garbage written in their books .
It is clear that the modern church does NOT stick to the Bible anymore.

No I'm not saying that . In some cases he should but that's not what the modern church advocates at all because the modern church is proud , arrogant and rebellious and mirrors what modern females look like.
The church advocates that a husband shoud pray for his wife if she's not submissive , if she's rebellious ., completely putting aside the authority of the husband and replacing it with a fig leaf called prayer.
