  • The late Abe (1926-2002) was a longtime songwriting partner and band member of Lefty Frizzell's, and also did some fine singles in his own right, including this one from 1971. Didn't chart, but it's still a fine tune. Enjoy!

    Abe, like Jimmy Gateley and others, provided solid vocal/musical backup to the star singer in the band and too often their own output as artists was overlooked. This is a nice reminder of how good a singer he was..
