- A standalone edition of FINAL FANTASY XV MULTIPLAYER: COMRADES for the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X and the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system will release on December 12. Players can participate in various hunt, guard and convoy quests in co-op gameplay with up to four other players. The new update will bring 10 additional powerful bosses for players to face off against. Coming December 12th for North America and December 13th for Europe and Japan.

So... do I have to start over from scratch or I'll be able to carry my current progress in Comrades to this standalone version?
Also, do the DLC of FFXV and this standalone version will connect/interact with each other?
The version of comrades INSIDE of FFXV is being discontinued on the console versions, but you get the standalone version for free if you own the DLC, as for the save they have not said. On PC it's not being released as a standalone and this new content will be available like normal.
They said this in the Special Program video if you are wondering where this info came from.
It concerns me too. I'm almost level 50 and really dont want to grind all the way again till my current level (for sure higher at December). Hope they dont mess on that!

Estou curtindo muito a expansão Comrades. Comecei há um mês e estou animado com as novas adições em Dezembro. Só espero que possamos usar nossos chars criados no jogo base. Senão, nunca mais toco nesapoha! XD
@@CorrosiveGamers1 Yep. Got the free part watching this live, so at least I don't have to pay for it :) Honestly... I'll get it, but won't play again from scratch. Some missions are impossible to complete without help. As for today I never finished the Ifrit rematch because of lack of players.

@@Veloso-hf1ux Cara... essa expansão é muito boa, mas eu tb não vou começar do zero. Já tenho as 4 armas no lvl 120, todas as roupas e etc. Depois de um tempo Comrades fica repetitivo e frustrante pra completar certas missões pq vc não acha ninguém pra ajudar.

If i already have the dlc do i need to get this? Like is it something different?
What I understand is that this update is for you to play main campaign with Comrades characters, so this is for free if you have the first dlc.
@@soricaleido what no.... These are just bosses FROM the main campaign, raid bosses you can fight. You don't go through the main campaign with your comrades characters. Comrade had its own "campaign" with your character
And yes it's a Free update to your comrades dlc you don't have to buy anything

It's too bad the original comrades was such a pain in the ass, seriously to get enough power, you had to do the same battles over and over again...it quickly got exhausting. I don't even know if they made it less tedious, I don't even know the rest of the story of comrades. I'm hoping this might streamline all the tedious parts of it, and actually make it good. Seriously, these types of games are made for campaign modes, not multiplayer.
I hope someday we're able to use our char form Comrades playable in the normal game, as the Windows Edition is.

This is a new version, people who bought the old comrades will get this updated version for free! Also only Episode Ardyn is being released, it was announced at the special anniversary broadcast that the other 3 dlc episodes have been cancelled so no Episode Luna, Aranea and Noct sadly

Will this make the game open world? Will my comrades appear in the town with me? I was kind of hoping this would be like a FF version of GTA Online. I was so disappointed in the PS4
Despite its flaws, I spent hours on the original Comrades. Didn't achieve max level, but still finished it. There were some tough battles there, hence why I enjoyed it so much. But I would rather not have to endure the pain of grinding all the way up again. Why is it so difficult to level up in this game, jeez?.... Not even the original FF11 was that difficult to level up

Old Comrades is going to stop being available, but you get this version for free and your stuff carries over. (Edit: unless you're on PC in which case it's just an update)

Yes I would love to see a major update where we can free roam grab bounties kill Deamons then come back to a camp to get EXP just like in the main game
They should just make a new ff game like this with open world and playing in parties with friends just like monster hunter.
This does not make up for the 3 DLC's you scratched. in fact.... it just makes the punch even harder. no one wanted comrades. fuck

This looks rather lame, guess im not the demografic for this, its just fightintg without any story or context o.O
I find it a bit odd you'd on this particular channel without being in the demographic, or without the context. It's part of FFXV's story, it'd be around a chapter 3 in the game, when Noct isn't around.
9@@yoshiokst-plays9261 being fan of FF doesnt make me part of demografic for Comrades, one is single player rpg, the other is online multiplayer, I simply do not enjoy that, especially considering that it has little to no story, I did try the dlc. Also, its set after chapter 9, not three, after Noctis gets sucked into the crystal.

Not even one new boss? Where are the other Lucii kings? Desapointed not deffines me as a custmer of the enterprise rigth now...I was one of a kind defenders of this game (FFXV)...but now i feel betrayed and with not a only thing that I spected to see...an version of Diamond Weapon in game, all the summons usable, things that we, as fans, couldn't see but via other medias the infomation had come tu us...and we will not see that things...other charecters to play....I was hoping for an entire new experience...all shatter...well.....thanks.
