Okay I just learned that she was a model before starting her music career and the lack of energy in this performance totally makes sense now because models are trained to look like they're exerting nothing when they move. But watching her newer performances, you can tell she's really been working on it and I live to see it :)

This explains why she started with visible abs and now she doesn't have abs anymore. Also maybe is just my perpective to be clear but in this performance and during her first years you can see she had bigger legs. Probably she as model spent more time working out and doing diets than now.

after watching her most recent Grammy performance, I can't begin to say how proud I am of dua. she has definitely gained confidence and her stage presence now is 1000x what it was back then. so glad she has found herself on stage

I Future Nostalgia is one of the best pop albums I’ve ever heard in a very long time..
I came here to see her improvement after the Grammy’s performance and wow has the queen improved, better vocal support, better vocal agility, better stage presence, etc. 3 years makes a big difference, i’m so proud of her ❤️

I've noticed with Dua when she's singing at concerts just in front of fans her confidence and stage presence is great and she looks like she's having so much fun but on talk shows and award shows it's all gone and she's a bit stiff. But it's understandable she's new and will get better and better, love her so happy she won two awards! 😍❤️

Danxel, You do realise how hard most Kpop singers have it? They literally start from when the leave high school to when the contract ends. They are pushed to their limits, they are practicing 5/7 days a week. They literally don’t need to be able to sing they need to put on a good show and look good too.

I have to say, she is a very talented girl, nice voice, can perform live amazingly and very pretty as well, what she is lacking is stage presence and she isn't a great performer, she can't move the crowd despite this being an upbeat and great song with a hundred back up dancers on stage, well this reminds me, no one is perfect.

Она вообще пока не тронута звёздной болезнью. Девочка совсем, но феноменально талантливая и яркая. Видно ещё, что она немного нервничает перед выступлением, и это очень трогательно. На тех же растиражированных звёзд вроде бейонсе или рианны я уже смотреть не могу, такое ощущение, что они считают себя богами. Надменность есть огромная. Дуалипа пока очень такая a Girl next Door. Хотя в клипах очень артистичная, внешность такая модельная в хорошем смысле.
