@ yes, plus the pearl Envy Tour. Those are the only currently-manufactured “Tour” balls. Others were manufactured, such as the Tour Dynam-X, but they are retired balls at this point. Then you get into murky questions: What exactly is a “Tour” ball? Is a Tour ball the same as or different from a benchmark ball? How come benchmark balls aren’t given the “Tour” moniker? And if we start including benchmark balls into this discussion, we will have more than just these 4 balls to compare.🤷♂️
Hi Luis. I've been watching your channel for a few years now and your swing is looking very good! Keep it up. BTW I'm a storm guy, but this ball looks really good!
Thanks for the review Luis, I would love to see how the ball reacts if your fingers would stay below the equator of the ball, more on the inside and behind it.
cant wait to get mine. My envy tour is my favorite ball and was going to order another till I saw they had an effect tour. Tour balls work best for me . I like a tight consistent line
I understand research and development and costs going up...assym or not, $195 undrilled is alot for a benchmark type ball. I'm still going to get it though...I love my Envy Tour Solid
I have the original Effect and love it on many conditions, but can you further explain your comment regarding this ball being a "one trick pony". I am looking for a ball for heavy, long oil pattern. Thanks.
I just got it on Friday night and bowled 4 games. It definitely hooks more than expected. But i would have to say no buyers' remorse here. I give this ball 10/10 so far.
Hi Lou, how would this compare to an xponent? I found the xponent to be a little weak and better polished and playing more transition/burn. I have a proton physix and then a stealth pearl. Would this fit between the two? Thanks
Brunsnick made this ball look versatile from multiple zones. Luis thinks it's a one trick poney. I just got effect tour today and worked good for me 2nd and 3rd arrow. I think it can be more versatile for some bowlers.
@@scottlope4680 I want to say the cover is stronger on the envy tour, but the combination of the core cover make that ball completely different than this one. The effect just seems more tamer.
@ I previously bought both the obsession tour and the original envy. So I never got around to getting the envy tour, but it was definitely a great ball they use one’s core and one’s cover .This one seems more of my speed because of my speed. I like to throw it hard and straight and keep the ball in front of me.
This has a much bigger core than the Envy Tour, plus an updated version of the TourVx coverstock, which the TourV1 was on the Web Tour And Web Tour Hybrid Edition, and the TourV2 on the Obsession Tour. If anything, it isn’t weaker, but shapes differently than the Envy Tour.
@ I know the Huntsman core is a combination of the vibe and widow series. Which makes the core huge, but the cover is still weaker than the original envy that came out a few years ago. Swipe the original envy wasn’t that usable. The cover and core locked up on each other.

@ i’m OK with people liking what they like. Trying to say people blatantly rip off another company is funny though. Storm has already stated that ball is just a beef up IQ. While hammer is saying this ball is a more controllable hammer effect.
@@johnsilerio2407 and where were you with the Envy Tour, Obsession Tour, and Web Tour? I’ll even go further back and ask where you were with the Gamebreaker? Because if you have thrown any of those balls, you’d know everything that has gone into this ball, as the bulk of those balls (with the exception of the Gamebreaker) are part of this ball. And Of course Storm is going to downplay this because it is their competition.
Can’t wait to get mines and compare it to my Obsession Tour
Hopefully you love it!
Lou-now that you’re a free agent, how about a “Tour ball” comparison roll-off?
Will do!
Effect Tour, Envy Tour, IQ Tour?

Love my Envy Tour and my Effect is better now that I modified the surface.
Pocket Pounder 300
Yea a little weaker than envy tour. Shapes more than it also
My effect looks great with surface as well.
What surface did you put on the Effect?

For me I just like that it allows me to chase it in and not lose motion. Agreed with it being 10/10
I may order it next year.
It’ll still be available!
there will be 50 more balls advertised as better by then
Damn It.... now I have to go to JB Bowling Supply and buy this ball now. Thanks Louis for selling the hell out of that one. Lol
It sells itself lol I just throw it! Tell them I sent you!

Watched league before this video and it really looked good in league
Yup!
Can we see your new 6 ball arsenal now that your not dedicated to a single company?
Will be doing that!
My dilemma is I already have an EJ and a regular Shock so is there really room for this in my bag?
They would be similar parts of the arsenal but this is GOOD
Xray hustle sanded to 2000??
This would be substantially stronger
I think ‘Brunsnick’ agrees with you.
Hard not to on this one!
@ I’d like to buy one, but I’ll wait till next Tuesday. when 3 more ‘new’ balls come out. It’s really getting ridiculous. But that ball looks good.

The effect tour doesn't seem to be better than the hazmat solid for hard throwers
I would disagree with you! Respectfully
@LuisNapoles please explain so I can understand better since I am looking for a new ball
I've both balls. Love both, but the difference is in oil patterns with ball layouts.
little weaker then the envy tour? love your reviews

you only recording your strikes?
Nope!
Why are you averaging 187 on bud league?
Looks like the iq
Its in that same category i think. Smooth controllable low diff solid
Lots of similarities but the cover is substantially stronger on this than the !q
literally just an ion pro clone.
How when the Obsession Tour was years before?
Its even close to that ball, so much better and controllable storm fanboy
@ i’m OK with people liking what they like. Trying to say people blatantly rip off another company is funny though. Storm has already stated that ball is just a beef up IQ. While hammer is saying this ball is a more controllable hammer effect.
