I appreciate your honest reaction and agree on the camera, definitely should have shown much more of Sylvester. But about the song, it’s clearly one of the cases where personal tastes differ dramatically. Which is cool of course. I love electronic music and indie pop, so this is just perfect blend for me, plus still Eurovision enough - silly, catchy, playful. But even if I didn’t like the genre, I would still enjoy the more “repetetive” parts as they go really well with the lyrics and the theme… paraphrasing from memory, it’s about being stuck in a limbo where you can’t really be yourself yet, you just wait, wait, wait, you dance dance dance even if you don’t want to… I think a lot of gay men growing up in not so tolerant environments will relate to this, but basically anyone who only became themselves and accepted when they grew up - just wait up wait up wait up… it sort of has to be repetetive. But still, it contains the playfulness and cheerfulness within. And I think it represents Lithuania really well, they are a very modern dynamic country, just like this song. But I appreciate it won’t be for anyone (and that’s probably part of its appeal for me, tbf). And it seems to be one of the songs that northern Europe loves and southern Europe not so much. That said, really appreciate the honest reaction, thanks!

Ačiū jums ❤
Tai reiškia sunkų darbą į meno, dainavimo, gyvenimo sritį. Kai tu pavargsti, bet tu turi keltis ir eiti is priekį.
Puiki nuomonė ir kritika!
Sitoje dainoje viskas, ko neturi kitos eurovizines dainos
Who cares what you don’t like, public love it
