- Excavation for Foundation Waterproofing- Troy from Peak DirtWorks excavates carefully along an existing foundation to uncover for waterproofing repairs. This required some careful navigation into the rear of the property in order to access the area for excavation.

Great video! I am curious what you think of the new Cat 304 next gen? They went with a reduced radius instead of a zero/compact radius by reducing the width of the tracks. I do mostly landscape work and would like to dabble a little more in excavation and pool installs/repair a bit. Cheers!
I have not used the next gen 304, but I have demo'd a next gen 308. I really like our ZHS 304e2 CR because the wider track base seems pretty stable and you can be confident that if the tracks "fit" into an area, you dont have to worry about rear end clearance while swinging. We use our 304e2 CR for footing, basement, utility, septic, etc excavation almost daily to about 8' -ish depths. We will probably pick up a larger (306 or 308) this year, both of which are reduced tail swing, but we will hold on to our 304 for tighter/steeper workspaces. I do like the added features of the next gen excavators from CAT.
