My caneles turned out beautifully. I used the same pan like yours. The inside is custard with nice pores and outside is perfectly crisp. I baked at 500 F for 10 mins 375 F for 50 minutes on conventional oven. Thank you for a great recipes. I've tried several and like yours the best.

One if the antagonist characters, mentioned ‘Cannoli Haired Deadbeat’ as he was referring the main protagonist. I remembered it was a dessert. But I also thought I might have been wrong, because it also sounded similar to a pasta dish. So curious, I looked it up. And I eventually was lead to this ‘Canele’ through Recommendations in the google searches. And right now I found a newly opened cafe that was introduced by a family friend of mine a couple of days ago. Walked in to try some food out. And guess what I saw in the displays? Canele! I didn’t hesitate to order one. And now, these little desserts are one of my absolute favorites!
hello, in italy we have a sicilian dessert called "cannolo" so i believe that the insult to giorno's hair was refering to that since part 5 is set in italy. and you were right about the pasta dish, it's called "cannelloni" and it's similiar in some ways to lasagna. it's good to have someone interested in world cuisine!
Made these (based off a different recipe) with plain old AP flour, granulated sugar, and Hennessy, and let me tell you- perfection. But I used copper molds!
I wanted to try making caneles someday but I cannot find any canele molds, at least not the cheap kinds. Btw, what is the background music? It is lovely!

Just make them in a standard muffin tin. I did that and they turned out great
