    I made it, came out perfect. I brushed my mould with butter then with little honey, i got a beautiful brown shiny texture. Thanks a lot

    My caneles turned out beautifully. I used the same pan like yours. The inside is custard with nice pores and outside is perfectly crisp. I baked at 500 F for 10 mins 375 F for 50 minutes on conventional oven. Thank you for a great recipes. I've tried several and like yours the best.

      @@lespetits3628 Et vous arrivez à voir ça à travers un écran...bravo !! Je trouve que c'est bien réalisé : il faut savoir être indulgent et respecter le travail des autres même si ce n'est pas "parfait" : il ne faut pas oublier que c''est une américaine qui fait cette vidéo. La technique et le résultat final sont plus que corrects (pour moi il manque juste la gousse de vanille) donc respect svp !!!

      @@sandrinebonnoron6646 en quoi vous voyez un manque de respect ? Vous êtes complètement parano et ça se soigne (là vous voyez je ne vous respecte pas vous saisissez ?).
      Arrêtez de crier au respect partout, un savoir-faire ça se respecte aussi et oui ça se vois qu'ils sont sec et qu'il manque plusieurs choses si vous ne le voyez pas achetez vous un écran avec une meilleure définition et revoyez vos bases.
      Complètement malade celle-là...

    These came out so wonderfully! Thank you for this excellent recipe! I did use AP flour instead of bread flour as I wanted the texture to be lighter and it worked great! Excellent Canelés! Thank you! I’ll be making more for friends.

    True story. A about a month ago, I found out the existence of this dessert through JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Aureo Vento. One if the antagonist characters, mentioned ‘Cannoli Haired Deadbeat’ as he was referring the main protagonist. I remembered it was a dessert. But I also thought I might have been wrong, because it also sounded similar to a pasta dish. So curious, I looked it up. And I eventually was lead to this ‘Canele’ through Recommendations in the google searches.
    And right now I found a newly opened cafe that was introduced by a family friend of mine a couple of days ago. Walked in to try some food out. And guess what I saw in the displays? Canele! I didn’t hesitate to order one. And now, these little desserts are one of my absolute favorites!

      hello, in italy we have a sicilian dessert called "cannolo" so i believe that the insult to giorno's hair was refering to that since part 5 is set in italy. and you were right about the pasta dish, it's called "cannelloni" and it's similiar in some ways to lasagna. it's good to have someone interested in world cuisine!

    Made these (based off a different recipe) with plain old AP flour, granulated sugar, and Hennessy, and let me tell you- perfection. But I used copper molds!

      Just make them in a standard muffin tin. I did that and they turned out great

      I sometimes use orange juice, but you could also use water or milk or apple juice.
