I enjoyed watching your video. Sometimes I have the same feeling with my sketchbooks. And then I like to remind myself that art is a journey for me and it's important to preserve the place where my art comes from. I would love to see a repaint of a spread that you dislike the most. I think that after painting it there is a small chance that you can appreciate the old painting more than you do now. I've learnt for myself that my paintings don't always have to have meaning or tell a story. Sometimes I use them to preserve moments, feelings and thoughts. And sometimes I just paint because I want to and it relaxes me. So much for the topic of embarrassed. 😉 Have a nice day.

First of all: there are many really nice piece in this sketchbook 🤩 Don‘t be so harsh to yourself :3 sure, you evolved a lot since then but still it was nice to See all those paintings! I would love to See things Like that more often, but I also know, that there is a lot of work behind it, so no pressure x3
You may look and think ahh 😦 but others look and see where you have been, so where they can reach…..maybe like watching a baker making bread it is easy…only when you can and have practical experience 🎉thank you for sharing…❤

I don't know if you see comments this far back but... there isn't anything wrong with most of these. Could they use a color punch up? Sure, but there is nothing about these that you couldn't fix either with a redraw or digitally. You should do a series with the sketches in this book. Many creators do a "redrawing my old art" series and I think elevating these to your current style and color saturation would be wonderful to see. 🥰
