    Hard to understand, sorry. What are the two trade set-ups? One if the first pullback. What's the other? Thanks EDIT: My fault . . . . If you look at his comments under the video you find a clear explanation AND a handy Table Of Content. I wish all youtube posters did this!

    Questions: do you move your 2nd half position's stop loss anytime after the 1st half hit TP i.e trailing stop.
    Do you manually close the 2nd lot if it took too long going sideways not reaching your 2nd TP?

    I imagine you did a lot of testing but why not take the entire thing at 2:1? Or move SL to 1:1 a 2:1 and try for 3:1 on the entire position?

    Hello
    As i understood u r selling half ur position on target 1 and the other half on target 2,correct?
    If u travh target 1 but dont reach target 2, do u sell the unsold half at breakeven or do u risk it hitting your original stoploss in the hope that it will turn around and eventually reach target 2?
    Thanks and congrats on your channel :)

    as a swing trader, whats the average amount of days or weeks it takes you until you take profit or until your TP is hit? how many pips is your max limit for your 'stop loss' or SL? im fairly new to forex trading and trying to figure out what works best for me... scalping or swing trading. I'm currently learning how to scalp better 😁

    • @SleepyMagii
      @SleepyMagii Рік тому +1

      After each impulse, you bring your SL upto the dip of the last swing. If it hits, good chance of reversal and we should take the bag.

    Hello from Ottawa :)
    This is a very nice strategy, it really appeals to me. I am curious though, is this the only strategy that you tend to focus on? Or are there other strategies that you prefer? I currently trade breakouts, but I'm looking to add another strategy to my repertoire, and this trend following strategy looks very good. I love how clearly defined everything is making entry signals easy. Thanks, I'm loving your channel, keep up the hard work!

    Etienne, first of all thank you for all your videos, they are very insightful. I'm new to trading and live in Toronto. Being a Canadian Forex trader yourself, what broker do you suggest? Should being regulated by IIROC a pre-requisite I should consider? It's hard to find other Canadian FOREX traders I can ask for advice, I have more questions if there's another way I can reach you. Thank you :)

      This is a philosophical question. He does not have anything to sell to begin with. In order to open your short position and sell you kinda buy from the broker first what you're selling :)

    I have a lot of respect for you Etienne but pushing this strategy to new traders will lead them to loose money. Finding tops and bottoms using the Bollinger band is very difficult and will them to make a lot of wrong trades. The low risk reward ratio you are using also gives them very little room for error. Finding the right setup is also going to be time consuming and subjective due the use of zones and trend lines.

      its called trenching. you only took a trade once and then when you make a unrealized gain at your desired target you can then sell half of it or sell all of it. selling half of it makes your other half to go forward to stay in the position while the trend is going in your favor. while you already sell your first half which is your first trade. and the second trade is your ongoing trade. its just like you already have profited in your desired trade but you have extended your exposure on the market selling half of your gain.
