They are really beautiful. Another top of the line remake. You are the queen of giving new life to items that many would throw out. Love, love, love you make overs.❤❤❤
Enjoy all of your projects! That little shelf with a cubby and box attached would be a wonderful side table for a small bedroom. It could be attached to the wall and there’s plenty of room for a phone, books, pen and glasses. Really love the look of that one especially.
I found your channel accidentally last night. I was watching crafting videos and fell asleep. When I woke up UA-cam had your channel playing. My husband refinished furniture and I’d help him, but he had some kind of natural instinct as to what to use, which way to sand and had amazing patience with it. I have skills in other areas. Like I sew and if I mess up taking something apart to correct it isn’t earth shattering. I’ve really enjoyed watching you clean and revitalize these pieces. Each time you said, “writing desk,” I would think of the Mad Hatter saying , “why is a raven like a writing desk?” I live in the Potomac Highlands area of West Virginia. Apples are grown here commercially. I put apple decorations around my home. It’s not all apples all the time, but if I see something cute I will buy it. Your finished pieces are gorgeous. I’ve got a few pieces that I need/want to bring back to life. One is a little wash stand looking piece I found on the side of the road in Texas. It’s cute, but it’s mostly pressed wood aka compressed rat vomit and glue. I’m planning to do a crackle type finish on it. There’s a crack where the mirror section came off and crackle-tone can cover a multitude of sins. I’ve also got a gorgeous double rocker with a needlepoint upholstery and arms carved into swans. It needs to be restuffed, the swans are coming apart and it’s in dire need of having the wood refinished. As far as things no one wants; I rent a room and my roommate and I have been keeping an eye on a round dining table at Goodwill. The top was loose and it was diiiirrrty. On Sundays they have a tag color for $1.00. Last Sunday that table had a $1.00 tag. We got it home, cleaned it up, tightened the top and it’s been great. For anyone living in the Austin, TX area keep your eyes open for side of the road gems.
This was fun. I saw potential in the second and third but the sugar container took me by surprise. You saw the value in it and brought out the best in each piece.
It was so nice to see the pieces done three different ways the milk paint, the painted and distressed and the simple painted one my favourite was the writing / cubby as I love the cast iron colour and black wax 😊❤
I could never have imagined how pretty those were going to turn out but I would buy that sugar box in a heartbeat! You did an awesome job on all of them and surely they will sell.
I've never seen a portable telephone station before! I love the cast iron color & the fact that it can be used for other things since we no longer use those old, chunky dial phones.
I think the blue one was a shelf for a landline 16:24 desk phone and the little cubby held pens, paper . The lower shelf was for the phone book. Love them all.
I love the box! I would never have thought to fill in the word Sugar with filler. Love the final result of the writing table as well! I’m also a fan of Robin’s Egg blue as well. Great job!!
All are nice. The crazing on the sugar box is beautiful. Love how the milk paint naturally does that. I knew that I was going to like the former apple knobs piece. The black and blue and the new white knobs made it elegant, but the sugar box is my faviorite. The crazing is stunning
Love that cast iron color! I probably would have picked up all of those pieces too. They all turned out great, as do all of your pieces. I do love that light blue color too ❤
Love the makeovers…I was looking at the writing station and could visualize it as a jewelry box with mirror on the left side sitting on top of a chest…you are so inspiring 🥳
Nice, I love how you redo the old craft wood and give it new life. I use to build custom cabinets and furniture, so I have a long love of beautiful wood.
Everything is beautiful! A little tip, a Dremel tool with the small sanding attachments are a big help for sanding the small areas. Save your hands and wrists. Lol
@@GingerChickRehab sounds like me. I have a nice hanging one with a foot pedal. I like it for small sanding but I hate it for cutting. It's awkward. I always feel like it's going to fly out of my hand. I have arthritis in my hands so they get numb and useless randomly when overused.
This desk box was used as a telephone stand. My grandmother had a similar one. Thanks for sharing.
You are my Queen. Sometimes I watch marathons of you while I'm working on my projects. You are my favorite person out there.
I love what you did to the telephone stand ! You go girl ... LOVE !

Everything is beautiful! A little tip, a Dremel tool with the small sanding attachments are a big help for sanding the small areas. Save your hands and wrists. Lol
I have one.. I tried it. I found it a bit awkward to use.. so I just hand sand.. 🤗

Nice knob for Sugar box. Crackle is fantastic on it. Another great flip of overlooked pieces.
Not crazy! Just so talented!❤
What a great makeover!
How do you decide what type of paint you want to use? Fusion, milk, spray, to wax or not, etc? Love your videos!
You did a wonderful job. Yes, I pick up stuff. My husband says, "Why?"
Looks really good, Yvonne.
