You are the only person I see in videos that takes off stickers and cleans pieces before you work on them. You are one above in your work. So glad to see you feeling better. Really missed you.
It makes me cringe when I see creators paint over tags and labels!
This means so much to me, because those tags are a big pet peeve of mine!
I agree!!! Even some of the people I love to watch do not remove tags. It’s a tiny bit annoying to us ocd gals. 😮
Or clean properly and don’t care about the back

You are right, the signs aren’t for everybody, but you have them looking exactly like an old antique genuine sign would look like. I picked these up all the time at auctions and the real ones. You can hardly tell the wording on it. Great job.

Talking trash to treasure? That first is absolutely beautiful and the rest are very nice pieces to hang in anyones house. The white chippy one has a wonderful look, too. The transformations are everything! 😊❤. I’m praying you are getting enough rest and are feeling much better daily. You were sorely missed.😊❤

Well I was originally going to say…. That first piece! Omgosh! It came out BEAUTIFULLY!!!! Ugh I can’t flget over the before to the after!! Just awesome! But then all the “ooohhhh’s & aaaaahhhh’s” and I just can’t NOT say anything about them too!! 🤣😂 It all came out amazing!! Love it all!! Take care of you! Rest! ♥️

Great projects today. When you wax the items maybe not waxing the entire surface then it wouldn’t flake as much. Love these projects.

They are all gorgeous but I love the fence picket signs the most.
I would use the first 2 post pieces as garden art and the 3 railing pieces would look great on my garden fence.

I have a huge stash. Got some sweet pickens milk paint samples in the mail yesterday. I have been scared to try it, but watching you today has helped. The trick with the wax was interesting.

Love them all so much! I don't think I can pick a favorite? Really glad you did not paint the first one. It had so much character already. Wish I could come and buy them all from the booth!
I liked them all. I was feeling less than hopeful about the avocado paint color but I was pleasantly surprised. It’ll all sell of that I’m certain. Chris scored some nice treasures out there saling on his own. I didn’t get to watch the previous vlog right away but I was shocked to hear your diagnosis knowing you were in the hair business. Hunny’s sister was also a cosmetologist and she had mono years ago as well. She fought so hard to heal but she’s had some health issues that caused her to retire early from her career. I’m thinking all those hours swinging hair is tough but you sound stronger. Stay focused on healing Yvonne for I miss our visits when you are away…obviously Tater missed you as well. He is a busy one for sure!!!:):):)

Those old painted pieces are so neat! Before starting any work on them you really should be doing a test for lead. If there is lead you may want to seal it in and not do any sanding.

Just a little tip: put your water in the cup first, then add the milk paint. It keeps the powder from sticking in the bottom

The first piece was gorgeous. I would definitely put that above a doorway and the fence pieces would be awesome as the pieces of a garden bench or backing of a planter. Love the antique wax look. Glad you are feeling better :). I love the green and the distressed look of the signs.
I enjoy your videos, especially when you transform architectural pieces. I also think you have the best music background. I often hear a score on your channel first then weeks later hear it on another channel. Talented artists all around. ❤️
