- Hey babes! My sister got this major black eye right before family pictures! This is how we covered it and did her makeup. If you guys have any product questions leave me a comment below and I'll do my best to answer them quickly :)

I have one from loosing my balance and trying to save the pottery I was holding. Walked my face in the table, and am getting a black eye. Accidents happen and we shouldn’t Assume the worst. I know people will judge me today when I’m shopping and think the same things you are.

I currently have a black eye from tipping a box over in my closet and an old camcorder slid down right on my eyebrow. Literally have a lens shaped half moon imprint above my eye which will scar. Dont assume, not everyone is a victim nowadays despite popular virtue signaling politics.

I did not do as well covering my black eyes after my bike accident but then again I barely wear any makeup and only had a concealer and some powder and some blush. But hey it works well enough! Your sister is drop dead gorgeous and you did a phenomenal job!

Totally great trips. I got a huge black eye this from falling on the floor when I had a grandmal seizure. I'll try it out as best I can considering i not that great at make up.

I was walking on Sunday and face planted. I'm sporting two big black eyes both under my eyes and on my lids. I have a wedding this week I cannot miss. Recommendations on product? Any response ASAP is greatly appreciated.
I am a server and while working, I tripped in the server station amd smacked my face on the BRICK wall..let's just say I have quite the black eye. It's been a few days amd I've been using arnica gel to help with the bruising but I definitely still have swelling and healing gashes. This tutorial has been helpful in knowing which colors to start with when I need to cover this up and get back to work.

Curious as to why you put the darker shade down the middle of her nose with the shite on the sides instead of the white down the middle with darker sides???

Which colour should I use to cover my port wine stain birthmark? It’s red and more like a magenta. I always use vanilla and pale yellow to colour it but it looks like a bruise 🥲

@@jazzthecooltransformer2837 no I don't care, because I don't automatically associate a very specifically placed bruise on a woman with domestic violence. If a woman has a broken arm or an injured foot or a burn on her no one assumes anything, but because a black eye has been historically associated with domestic abuse 100% of the time people assume the cause is domestic abuse unless otherwise stated, and I have a problem with that. We literally don't know if this woman is even in a relationship and yet when you see a black eye you assume that yes, her lover must have assaulted her. Women are not delicate flowers who prance through meadows all day, we work, we play sports, we get rough sometimes and bruises are inevitable. I'm sick of the stigma that if a woman has a black eye she's ALWAYS in immediate danger and needs help. That's a big reason why makeup tutorials like this exist in the first place. Cause we can't go out as we are without people assuming things.

I literally had a large camcorder slide out of a box above me lens first and hit my eyebrow hard enough to leave a circle scar. People like you assume too much and I'd never want my sweetheart of a husband catch any side eyes because of my own bad luck.
What concealer did you use? Is it true that anything with an spf will white you out in photos? How can I see the full makeup tutorial?
Hi! I used tarte shape tape! It has really excellent coverage! I should have the one I used linked in the description box above. SPF can white you out in photos but it’s really only when the photographer used flashes or super high powers lights. So unless it’s for a photo shoot or red carpet event I wouldn’t worry about SPF at all. I haven’t released the full tutorial yet but it’s coming! How long do we need to leave the corrector in before putting on foundation? It keeps coming off every time I sponge the foundation on
Layer tarte shape tape over the corrector. Let dry for a min or two, and then *very* gently blend out.

So i have the same exact bruise like your sister, but it's also just as bad on my eyelid, making me look like I'm a week outbof Fight Club (I fainted and landed on my forehead, woke up to an egg-shaped hematoma and had to go to the ER..sigh.) Hi! I’m traveling right now so I don’t have my product notes with me from the video. I used the makeup forever flash palette for all the color correctors and I think tarte shape tape concealer over top. Tarte shape tape is great because it has a log over coverage on its own so u don’t need much over the corrector. Have fun on your vacation!

See as of min 1:50- yellow , orange , concealer light touch with a brush ; powder with a sponge ; pink/ purple + concealer again + powder again .

Hi Marion! I like the Makeup Forever flash palette from Sephora, but if you want a less expensive option Amazon has a good dupe called the IMAGIC makeup flash colors. It has the same color story and it’s only $20 😘

I’m using the makeup forever flash pallet and tarte shape tape concealer. But you can use any cream product, even a lipstick. You’d cover a hickey the exact same way. 😊
