The tube things are to be able to change your tires without scratching the rim or motor. I have them too for a kit i bought for my Inmotion RS. Congrats on your scooter, man. Im actually looking into getting one if these later on but want to see honest feedback like yours on the RX7. My RS cost the same as the RX7 is currently priced. I'm super excited for you, man. 😎👊 thank you so much for the video. it's very helpful.
Oh that makes sense, to help with tire changes. Thanks for the info! And I appreciate your comments. These sure are fun, and I bet the RS is amazing as well. I seriously considered that scoot before I bought this. Wish I could find one around to post a race. But.....I'm sure those are coming soon enough from the regular reviewers!
@dhandmg I'm saving for the RS atm. Was going to get the Vsett10+ but I NEED to see what that crazy suspension is all about. I never do any off roading so it'd be perfect for keeping up with traffic in my area.
@@jayy24195 I don't go over 55 very often, have only been over 60 like 2 times. But I find myself constantly cruising around 40-50mph. It is extremely stable and confidence inspiring around those speeds.
So does the thing always look gray unless the lights are turned on? I just think it would look kinda ugly riding around with it gray. Nice scooter though!
Can you please delve deeper into the stability of the scooter at higher speeds (45+ mph) without the dampener installed? You mentioned you experienced some wobbles at higher speeds. Was it due to the uneveness on the road? Was it due to user error perhaps? Was it due to wind factors? Or was it due to the engineering fault of the design that caused the scooter to wobble? Thank you.
Hard to answer that. I think mostly I experienced it going around 50 when I hit a bump or bigger crack in the road. No wind involved. I do think a dampener would solve it. I actually got a leaky defective dampener, and roadrunner is sending me a new one; so I can't test that for a few more days. That said, I don't think it's a design flaw, it might just be a characteristic of not being dual stem.
@@dhandmg Sorry to hear that about your dampener. Got mine today and luckily the dampener was in good shape. Running it on 11 out of 15, which is pretty stiff and she is rock solid out to 55 and then I just run out of room really so I haven't gone beyond that. Cruising at 40-45 can be done with one hand, standing on 1 foot (although I don't recommend it). It's just so smooth and balanced. The throttle modulation is excellent.
@@jabo5779 Thanks man, ya I sure wish I had a good dampener. Waited 6 months for the scoot, and now it's more waiting until I can fully test it. It's like buying a Ferrari and only being able to use first gear! But.... it is sure good to know it is solid with a dampener, cause I get anything over 40 and it just feels so light in the front that I don't dare push it anymore! Question for you. In the rx7 owners manual it says the p-07 setting for take off strength (or acceleration power) is a range of 0-2. Where 0 is weak take off, and 2 is strongest. Default is supposedly 1. So I got excited thinking my RX7 can still accelerate even faster than the stock settings. (Which is pretty dang good acceleration for anyone reading this) Anyways I went to change P-07 to 2 and found I only have a range of 0-1... Sorry for the long story, but could you check and see if you have 2 as an option on your p-07 setting like the manual says we are supposed to have?
@dhandmg I checked it and found the same thing, just 0 and 1, and it's on 1. So out of the box, it pretty much comes full blast, there is nothing to turn up, just gear 3 and go. The manual also says electronic brake was on and set to 1, but it's not. It is on zero, which is what I wanted anyway. So the manual is kinda half ass. Small things, but they should get it right. Also, I wish there was a parts diagram for the dampener as far as the washer placement. Dale has a video, but he doesn't explain the washer placement. I have no washer on the big front bolt, and then the rest of them have washers on the screw head side. He kinda just glides through it in the video... like, come on dude. If ikea can do it, you can make a diagram... lol. Anyway, if i look past the small stuff, I love the ride. I hit 71 today, and im 294 pounds with no gear on. Im in pa and have good hills, so it was with some gravity assist. Just gotta be careful coming off throttle too hard at that speed, but it was managable. Thats saying something cause I've only spent about 10 minutes total on my friends kukirin g3 pro... so you really can just jump on this and fly.
@@johndonzell2640 For Pete's sake, that's funny!! It has been to long, I apologize!! That said I will make another video in the next week or so. But..... The scooter is amazing. Yes I have had a few smallish problems that roadrunner has been quick to send me out replacements for. The scooter is so fast, so smooth, and stable. I find myself being comfortable going faster and faster with this thing. Which is dangerous. But it is extremely stable and easy to cruise at 45-55 all day long!
I want to test the full speed, trust me! But I went to install the dampener after I uploaded this video, and the darn thing is leaking oil like crazy. Guess I got a defective one. Roadrunner is sending me a new one, but not sure how long that will take. Hope it's quick 🤞 I have waited long enough to ride this beast to it's full potential.
Just sucks how that designer decided not to put that flat proof gel in the tires like the GTR smh. Pretty obvious nobody likes to change tires or patch it over a nail or whatever.
@@trini_boi2414 your just another of those click baiting queerdos that dont know what there talking about. There's no excuse to why they didn't install Flat proof gel in the tires of the RX7's.

I got the Obarter X7 8,000w 14inch tires battery is 60v 60ah. top speed is 56mph. Nice scooter man
man lowkey on the only thing from making this the best scooter is adding a seat option to it. how often do you go the 70mph?

Thats a really sick scooter! Id love to see the lumilor in person!
Thanks! It's hard to describe because it's not bright like you're looking at an LED strip, but it is very luminous!

The plastic tubes clap onto the edges of your rim so that you don't scratch up the rim. When you change the tires.

Hi,why did you have to wait five months for delivery?
Because the scooter was still in production. The first batch of them just barely got released last week
