The Lizzie Borden Murder Investigation

You've heard the story, but you've never heard it like this before! What exactly happened on August 4, 1892 after the police were called to 92 Second Street in Fall River, MA? Hear from Bridget Sullivan, the Borden family maid, about her whereabouts during the crime. Did Uncle John Morse and/or Lizzie have anything to do with it? The sheer number of blows speaks to the murders as personal. There was rage, hate and deliberation. Lizzie resented the fact that they did not live according to their means but the rage indicates complex trauma. CPTSD. Other murder suspects would have killed quick but would not have the rage to continue hatcheting over and over. The first theory was a stranger did it. Trouble was, no stranger. But those first few days, most folks were afraid of this possibility. Lizzie slept that night in the house. She was not afraid “ the stranger “ would come back. Would you be afraid? Would you sleep that night somewhere safe? She knew she was safe. Who stood to gain? The maid? No. The uncle, no. After the trial, Lizzie moved to a mansion in the “ good” part of town. Oh, and we cannot ignore the fact that she was seen burning her dress. She said, “ It’s got paint stains. “. Did it? Really, Lizzie?!
