Half of this video is talking about a thunderbolt cable I think we all well aware of what HDMI USB c is USB a let's get to the point. More people are questioning the programming and software not the hardware. This man did not go over any of my questions that I had over the topic
While your level of technology knowledge may be high, many people are not aware of the differences between HDMI, USB-C/Thunderbolt, USB-A, DisplayPort, VGA, and DVI. Kevin is showing people how to identify the ports on their computers and monitors, and demonstrating how to find the cables that they need. This is important information when connecting more than one monitor to a PC, which is what this video is about.
Trying to hook up dual monitors to my setup and just thinking about how I want to go about it. I use computers a lot but it's been a while since I spent time learning. Good introduction back.
Thank you for making the videos. Information is valuable. Please prepare videos on what is the roles and responsibilities of an it support engineer in Microsoft Company.

If both your laptop and smart TV support casting, you can use that to wirelessly cast from your laptop to the TV. It can be hit or miss in terms of reliability, performance, and compatibility. The easiest way is to plug an HDMI cable into your laptop and the other end into the TV's HDMI port.
Thank you. I was trying to connect 2 additional monitors to my PC. I couldn't get wireless casting to work but I think its because my 3rd monitor doesn't support it. But your instructions were super helpful and I also learned some new controls I wasn't aware of before.
Terry Pratchett: was asked in a BBC documentary about his 3 wide by 2 high grid of screens connected to his computer. "Why do I have 6 monitors on my desk? Because it isn't big enough for 8."

By the title in your video, I assumed you would be demonstrating how to connect two monitors to a PC (or to a laptop). You demonstrated how to add a second monitor to your laptop. I was hoping to see how to have a Windows computer feed video to two stand-alone monitors, and be able to use them in such a way that your mouse travels from one monitor to the next monitor. Will Windows allow you to use more than one of your computer's display ports, to feed more than one monitor? Or is some type of hardware needed that will take a single output from your PC and split it to have a two-monitor display? Thank you.
If you have multiple display ports and your graphics card supports it, you can connect multiple monitors. For instance, the NVIDIA RTX 3080 supports up to four monitors connected simultaneously. You only need a splitter in the situation that your GPU doesn't support the number of monitors you want to connect to. When splitting, you'll lose some resolution for each signal.
@@KevinStratvert Perhaps I should have been more detailed in my initial comment (I wanted to keep it concise). My friend has a laptop. He does not use his laptop's monitor. He has his laptop connected to an external monitor. He wants to add a second external monitor (side-by-side) and use his laptop's keyboard and mouse to travel between the two monitors, as if it were one ultra-wide monitor. I do not know what type of display output ports he has. Assuming he has only 1, can he accomplish his goal? Is that where the "splitter" you referred to comes in? If yes, any recommendations? Thank you.
