I prefer shaving the skin when still wet and light shaving when dry and before the first tuning…a bit risky for the fingers cause I use those oldskool thin and really sharp gilette blades

You made it look easier then when tried. There was thick hair on the head I had. Should it be shaved down with some clippers first? Leaving very short hair to shave off with a blade?
