The for your great detailed tuning skills, as a Dundun player I would like to stress NOT to use dun sticks as the tuning exercise damages and dents them, also it's a good practice to have a stick in your own jembe bag. Thanks again, love your gift to drumming.

My djembe has excess rope but its tied in a way to carry it with your shoulder like a handbag. Im asking anyone if that was the intentional purpose to carry it or am i supposed to use it to tune my djembe

How does one do a rope wrap a djembe?

    • @KelvinKew_FankaFellas

Depending on the size of your djembe, you will need rope/ropes long enough to wrap the entire bowl of the djembe. You can simply start with the bottom ring i.e start with tying a knot on one of the small loop at the bottom ring, then wrap all the way up until the end of your rope. At the end of your rope, tie another know onto one of the vertical rope of the djembe. Sorry if I didn't explain in a way that its clear, I hope this explanation helps! :)
