When doing their 'Love & Tears' concert, Umji decided to create a meaningful song to commemorate it since it's their first wrld tour + her first song for viviz. She composed it just before & during US tour, and wrote it thinking of feelings towards members & fans.

Umji submitted 2 sets of lyrics for Hypnotize. BPM did a blind test by sending lyrics from Umji and from other lyricists to Eunha and SinB. They were wondering why BPM didn't mention who the lyricist is. Eunha and SinB both chose 2 sets of lyrics and both turned out to be Umji's.
