Artist’s note:
This video for ‘Kind of Kin’ is the second out of six we made for the EP ‘Everything I Say’ and
upcoming LP ‘Groundwork Rising’. In a way it is the first part of a short music movie, which
takes you through several songs and moods of that album. Director and visual artist Yani came
up with brilliantly simple, beautiful ideas for each video. We wanted to make more than just
one flashy video. Yani’s enthusiasm, patience and creativity is endless and enviable and our
cooperation was and is truly inspiring. This is what the songs need. I hope you all enjoy it as
much as I do. Ruben.
