As for getting Kurt settled in, grab some of the scent soakers (beds, blankets, etc that he's rubbed his scent all over- include a spare but used litterbox as well if you can) and put them in the new place to marinate the air. (hide those out of the way when moving day comes around, then pull them back out) Between that and smelling your scent all over your stuff at the new place, it should help him with the transition. Best wishes in this new chapter of yours and Kurt's lives.
Oh, and when I moved, I also designated a safe space that my cat was able to hang out in, away from the noise and movement of moving in (and the movers, since he's anxious around strangers). Anything that I needed to put into that room either was there before moving day or was added in with Sebastian's arrival. Kinda like how the gradual introduction of cats to each other are recommended to be done, but with the cat being introduced to the home. Slow and steady and together with their human so they're not overwhelmed.

The trampoline will work at a shelter of cat cafe. I'm sure some cats would love to sleep in that. They may even be able to use it as a private space for moms and kittens.
To me, Kurt didn’t look too scared but he was definitely curious about the new palace and wondering why he was there and not at home. But all in all, he seemed to look quite ok to me.👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🥰😺
Kurt is very generous to take you along with him to his new house! Maybe take him for a visit to explore the new house a few times before anything or anyone is there, when it's quiet. Take his stroller and backpack food plate & catnip bubbles! And one of his cat trees by a window in his new room.

Just a suggestion that you could build kurt a catio to allow him some fresh air whilst being safe. Definetly add some of his favourite toys and familar things such as blankets, and scratching posts, food and water bowl and the same litter tray with fresh litter but the same type into the same room. Keep him in the same one room for about a week and gradually introduce him to the other rooms and spaces in the house. Don't overwhelm him with all the rooms at once or new feeding bowls or food or lots of toys. Make sure you spend plenty of time with him. he trusts you, he will learn that you like the new house and will eventually like it because of his tust and love for you. Hold off on major construction until Kurt is settled or get it completed before Kurt moves into the new house. It was very sudden sieziures and had to be put down. It all happened so suddenly and in the space of 48 hours she went from healthy with a great quality of life to having to say goodbye. I love watching Kurt. It has helped to cheer me up through my grief. Cherish the time with kurt. Things can change in the blink of an eye. It is interesting to see a different orange cat. I have my own very pale ginger cat. I can see the similarities between Kurt and him.

They are very possessive of any and everything you buy, bring home or have that's been yours prior to Kurt taking over your life. I've have other cats and they don't care about stuff. But my Orange Cats had to be the first to sit on, sleep on and take over everything I had thought was mine. Even when we bought our house, my first Orange Cat took it over. It was his house. I'm sure he's left a will somewhere in the house for the next Orange cat to take ownership of all of his possessions. Once you learn that everything belongs to them and they allow you to be there your life is peaceful. Everything gets passed down to the next Orange Cat as the oldest Orange Cat crosses the bridge.
