  • In this video, I’m explaining comparatives and superlatives in Spanish which express the differences of inferior and superior qualities between people and things. In English, you simply extend short adjectives (like adding -er and -est to simple adjectives), aside from a few irregular ones like good (better, best) and bad (worse, worst). Spanish actually doesn’t quite have this concept, so instead, it relies on words like más & menos to explain if something is inferior or superior. It also has a few irregulars, like bueno/a, malo/a, joven, and viejo/a, meaning good, bad, young, and old which are modified irregularly when they’re put in comparative and superlative forms. In the video, I provide examples along the way to explain these ideas better.
Feel free to share this video with people you know who love learning languages or with people in general. I very much appreciate the support.
    About me:
I’m Alex, and I’m a student at UNLV. As I major in Spanish, I advance in my linguistic skills, learn new concepts, and understand how learning within languages works. I’m fluent in Russian, Hebrew, and English, and I’m learning Spanish and German. I’m simply trying to make languages seem very easy.

As a disclaimer, I’m NOT a teacher and never taught a day in my life, but I faced many horrible teachers (especially in languages), so I’ve decided to educate on these topics using my way, better than how most people would teach them. What works for me may or may not work for you, and that’s okay because we all have our unique ways of learning.

I like you literal translations . So more understandable to think like a spanish speaker than attempting to translate from english to spanish when speaking to a spanish only listener
