Great content as usual. The amount of work you put in to make the system of your project work is really awesome and under appreciated. You can tell you spent days working on your website and videos. But please, I'm always waiting for your videos, but everything is about Warzone. Will you ever make any videos on Multiplayer? waiting for best weapons for close and long range metas on regular multiplayer game mods and maps forever. Been subscribed and notified on all your vids since last year's cod.
As long as you’re hitting stomach & up, still very viable. No need to go for headshots unless target’s stationary.
With the damage nerf tbh. It won't change much, as long as you have your teammates tag the enemy too, you can crack then and thirst. So you don't fully have to be the main one dealing damage.

I believe a good nerf without killing the gun would be to remove the neckshot multiplier. since as it is now, the MTZ basically has a huge head hitbox which makes landing higher damage shots more likely.
Or change the rpm abit

The thing that makes the MTZ / Bren DMR great is that its recoil resets to the *exact same position* after each bullet (with meta build). No matter the range, if you get a headshot, you will indeed get a second headshot if the target is still. Now, I don't think they should change this, because it makes it a unique gun to use, so they should make it a lot less forgiving. A 4 shot upper chest is fine if even one shot to the arms or legs drops it to 5. You should have no excuse for bad aim if the gun has effectively zero recoil.
Also playing WZ day one of this season, i played the mtz when it was 2 tap to the head. Good Times!

DM56 is so crazy. TTK might not stand out but you can make the mobility and ADS speed like an SMG and very easily get the bullet velocity over 1000m/s. With the Holotherm

Crossplay off option on Xbox hasn’t work in warzone since warzone was released in 2019 and nobody ever mentions it.

I use to play DMZ with Xbox crossplay off and it worked well.. but would usually just run into sweaty ass teams of 6 using keyboard and mouse on Xbox..
Dude hope u all good I found fasts ttk at close 400 with 300 health lol is the cor45 pistol but with 87% fire rate trigger.... Means u don't lose damage when u use the convertion kit.. it's so stupid and kills 600mls up to 50meters lol
They should've nerf the arm dmg as well to match the legs

Are any of the other Marksman riffle viable? Ive been tryimg to use the 6.8 and the KVD, both literally opposite spectrum in terms type of DMR, i cant tell if they are good quite yet, any thoughts?
I switched to the MCW 6.8 last week. It's a 3 headshot, 4 shot with 2 head shots, and 5 chest. It has a 60 round mag, shots way faster than the MTZ, and one of the ammunitions makes it basically hitscan. The only flaw is the visual recoil but actual recoil is low like most guns. It's not OP like the MTZ but is balanced in the meta. I plan on using it until we see what happens next week.

Maybe they should just make the neck multiplier the same as the chest instead of the head. I think 3 shots to kill with 2 headshots is fair if it's actually hard to do.

Remove neck shot, make it 5 shot kill if you shoot 1 of the limbs, add recoil

@@Samuraiflash85 Like a less consistent MTZ with better handling. Theoretically kills even faster than MTZ but you need all head and chest and no limb shots. Also worth noting the MCW 6.8 has like 25% more bullet velocity, it actually shoots spicy fast bullets as a feature
Not sure why more people don't talk about the mtz 762 on semi auto. It doesn't have the range like the interceptor and def isnt a replacement but in the AR category of mid range (and even close range), the mtz 762 semi auto destroys anything else and I wonder why nobody talks about it. Its a little wierd to get used to at first since you have to fire so fast but even at unoptimal firerate, you still destroy everyone. I get accused of hacking constantly bc of how fast I kill people.

Same bro, it's been fastest ttk since release and not many people use it. Theres so many fun builds you can do for it aswell. More longrange dmr build with 2.5 sight, Iron sight ar rush build or my favorite the tac stance cqb build

Even in full auto i kind of like it. Feels like it shreds so hard when i pick it up as a ground loot weapon too.

The dmr meta is back, but tbh they should just add sway to the reset per shot. That's why the mtz is competitive. Damage could be argued too, but it's the recentering
I agree this is the main issue is not the dmg but how easy it is to use. Increase scope sway, delay between shots, or increased recoil would help take it out of the meta while still keeping it as a solid weapon for those that can hit their shots.
@Alex-dm3dr yeah I agree. I feel like that's how nerfs should be. Not to knock any weapon out of meta, but be within Meta, being viable and competitive with drawbacks for good players who spend hours to still easy to use for newer players.
Nerfing it to take 1 extra shot is not a nerf lol, the major benefits of this gun are recoil and when an entire team of 4 are running it..

Im playing controller and is very happy about the changes, just hope they fix the feel of aiming as of now it feels like playing will a ball mouse and 100 mouse acceleration on Windows xp

Why is everyone focusing so much on the MTZ, while the KVD has the same damage, only with an even higher rate of fire, bullet speed and better recoil?
Warzone 1 balance was obvious faster ttk more recoil and less range.
M4 shredded even tho the m13 was a laser
The patch notes were wrong then? They didnt mention changing the head damage values
The way they do it is they set a base damage and then different body parts have a different multiplier in that base damage
I think 3 headshots and 3 upper body shots is decent
People were already hitting multiple head shots though. So nothing has changed AT ALL

If it's still meta how is MTZ better than KVD Enforcer that does the same damage with better range and fire rate?
TAQ M and tempus torrent also have similar TTK but its all about range and no recoil. The MTZ recentering is braindead easy compared to the other marksman.
@@johnsonjunior547 I ignore all MW2 guns no matter what their ttk is because they all have too many downsides vs MW3 alternatives. KVD however has same ease of use, recoil etc as MTZ but with *significantly* longer range, and faster fire rate / ADS as well. The only reason it wasn't meta before was MTZ's crazy damage - but after the nerf the damage (or shots to kill) is the same for both.
The gun is still way too oppressive. You can keep reducing its damage and adding another shot or 2 to get a kill, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s way too easy to hit fast consecutive shots with it.
Nah as much as I don’t like getting killed by this good which I rarely do it is balanced at this point in my opinion. We need strong DMR variety in this game and if this is the best it’s not that bad ro have. Still need skill to aim and hit moving targets
There is just no logic with this nerf, most players wont even notice a change. The main problem is the recoil return to center especially with aim assist & fire rate imo. The fact that headshots are not very rewarding in this game is bad enough, making guns like this NOT rely heavily on them for good ttk is even worse when stacked with the easy recoil and good fire rate. This weapon should stay viable but it needs a rate of fire and recoil nerf otherwise out of 140 some guns, 50% of controller players will still use the mtz because why wouldnt they

True, i would 3 tap people from across the map and be surprised at how easy it is to get a knock as opposed to a single shot like the AMR.
Closer but not quite done for. If they buff some guns it may fall out of favor. I'll still be running it in games with lower ammo requirements.

It won’t matter it’s not just the interceptor that’s extremely broken anyway. The 6.8 and the kvd are just as bad they need to nerf the entire marksman class. It upsets the balance one and two those kinds of gunfights are lackluster and no fun.

biggest change is that it now allows you to react to being shot by it without having all your plates instantly knocked off. This will make it much harder to full kill someone that actually shoots back.
As a sniper main I haven’t touched wz cause the gun was just so easy to use. The nerf doesn’t nerf shit when 4 mfs using it all scoped at you with no glint on the corio eagle eye. Nerf scopes having less recoil and no glint. Doesn’t make sense in my opinion.
After a full month, this is all they’ve done lmao what a joke. Just nerf this shit into the ground theres a 100 guns in the game no one will miss using this..

@@Subsistence69 MTZ, MTZ 7.62 in single fire, Bas-B, SVA, Ram, all LMGs besides the Holger (decent too), all the MW3 marksman rifles are viable too, all the MW3 SMGs besides the AMR and Rival, M13B, and COR-45. The other marksman rifles are debatably better than the MTZ and the battle rifle version has a faster ttk in single fire than the marksman version.

The gun having aim assist is the problem, not gun
Yeah guns with almost no recoil are a bit strong on roller, it’s kind of hard to miss shots. Even a little bit of consistent recoil would throw the average player off enough to make this less annoying.
No recoil helps on kbm too of course, but the visual recoil makes tracking a little tougher since you can’t see where your point of aim actually is 80% of the time while shooting it. That and with the slow fire rate, if you fire right after they switch directions and miss cause you don’t have instant reaction time *aim assist*, it’s punishing and feels more balanced.

Incredible how the only meaningful consequence of the nerf is an extra bullet for leg shots which is basically irrelevant considering you'll generally aim for torso and head anyway. Gotta make sure they're still selling the arcade bundle featuring the MTZ

I like the interceptor. I barely use it because I'm the type to rotate my guns every other game, but it felt good. As long as there's a 1 shot sniper, a gun like this should exist. Maybe the just slow the fire rate and change the recoil a bit.

Hell yes, couldn’t agree more. If they nerf this gun then they have to nerf 1 shot snipers. The Intercepter uses sniper ammo so it should kill quick with minimal shots. I think the fire rate is fine as well. You can’t spam it too fast, because you’ll miss shots. Have to be accurate with it, which is a skill thing I guess….

@@Subsistence69 Xbox too I'm fairly sure, but with me on PlayStation, it feels like half the Lobby is boosting if crossplay is on. Good games when it's off though, and many counsel players are doing the same. Counsel vs pc is no contest, I was always pissed at the game. With crossplay off it's much more fun though, and seeming none of those ninja bots doing flips and not missing a shot.
