I came for the Tomatoes on a grow tower but I was shocked and moved to find you have the smile of a late friend of mine we lost a couple years back. Rest in Peace Cheese. I'm subscribed now and while your knowledge and love of gardening is great I do hope to see that shit eating grin that gave my friend his nickname, a genuine smile from ear to ear. I miss him, thank you.
That is an awesome result from a vertical hydroponics system. I'm really struggling to grow tomatoes in my vertical systems so this was a great help thank you. I'm currently growing bush / tumbling varieties and they're not doing very well.
hii nice groww, i have a question why u only plant 1 tomato plant per module?? can i plant 5 tomatoes per module? that wont make the tower very bushy??
How about the roots inside the tower? Is the water / nutrient still gooing down to the reservoir? Are the roots in shart time not in the reservoir blocking the pump? Me having perfect tomatoes is several diggerent hydro systems but allways problems with them roots. NFT block the canals, Dutch bucket system grow so much roots water hardly passes and go back to reservoir. Same with beans? How can one make these roots grow smaller but still go for lots of crops?
Considering that the plants are growing vertically upwards off the ground, this drastically reduces the amount of pests that can access the plants. However, if we do have an insect issue, we use organic pest control such as neem oil, pyrethrin, thuricide, and agricultural soap (potassium salts).
Hello Sir, I can see you left many spots empty on the tower, is it a limitation due to the bushy nature of tomatoes or can we fill these spots ? Thanks for you all your videos
Awesome! These towers look like they're about 30 cm (~12 inches) in diameter. I've come across many towers around 12 cm (~5 inches) in diameter but only seen lettuce or kale being grown in those thin towers. Is it possible to grow tomatoes in such thin towers as well?
They don't say, "The proof is in the pudding." They said, "The proof of the pudding is in the eating." It still means what you want it to mean - that some food might look good, but the taste is the crucial thing. But you see how the phrase makes more sense that way... 🙂 Anyway, good work, and keep it up. If you have a dark indoor space, perhaps you can do some aeroponic potatoes?
As i see from the video it is not good idea to grow tomatos in grow towers if you are going to use indoor setup if i,m wrong then I DEMAND A VIDEO explainging how it is done
Great stuff. I'm wondering though, are the skins of the tomatoes too hard and plastic-like to eat? The best tomatoes are the ones you can bite into skin and all without the irritation of chewing on tough tomato skin.
Hope this dude is still living life and loving it! Awesome videos and peace be to you
I hope you are still alive. This dude as upu name him posted his last ( for the moment ) video only a month agoo.

Do you have pest problems with tower gardening?

This system costs 700 USD plus and you planted only 3 or 2 sets in the system

They are so good and the skin is very soft/thin
@@Agrotonomy I contacted you on getting Tower Gardens shipped to Japan. Apparently, 15 can be shipped? All I need is 2-3. Looking for alternatives.
❤
Tomatoes are resources hogs, in the tower gardens!
