Last visit I took pictures of items I thought I wanted. Ended up not buying except a pair of Ears. Saved lots of $$$. One thing I did for the next trip I put a certain amount of money away in a travel savings account and I also put $ in an envelope and when I reached $50.00 lets say I put Disney stickers on it and sealed the back so I could not open them. Used a money tracker sheet to show how much I had put away. At some point this year I went to Target to get GC with the red card to get that extra discount.
What I usually do normally when I find I really don’t feel like spending the money at the time I’ll take a pic and go and think on it to decide if I REALLY want whatever it is
If you don't already have a credit card that gives you rewards that are useful to you, get a Disney Visa. My family has one Disney Visa Premiere account for our household, and basically EVERYTHING goes on it. The premiere card gives you Disney Rewards Dollars, 2% at grocery stores (including the entirety of Super Walmart and Super Target!)/gas stations/restaurants/Disney owned things (like your trip or DVC dues!!) and 1% everywhere else. By the time our annual trip rolls around we usually have about $1100 in Reward Dollars saved up that can then be loaded on a Reward Dollars card instantly. We haven't paid a cent for a souvenir in years. I have a regular Disney Visa for my personal spending, too, that only gives 1% across the board, but a couple times a year Chase will notify me of a special offer that lasts for 3 months where I can get 5% back in certain purchases up to $1000 charged. That often ends up being grocery stores or gas stations, and in those cases I put the household groceries and gas on my personal card in order to get that extra 3%!
Agree on using credit card points but you might be able to get better cash back rewards with other cards without an annual fee compared to a Disney branded card. Citi Double Cash (2% on everything; no annual fee) and Custom Cash (5% on top spending category up to $500 per month, 1% all; no annual fee) might get you more cash back on everyday spending that can be used at Disney or anywhere else!
I've been using that Souvenir tip for years ... has kept thousands of dollars in my pocket, lol... much to my husband's delight. Even on my Tokyo Disney trip, knowing that we only promised to purchase ONE extra suitcase if needed (yeah, we did), it kept me from buying too much. Yep, got the popcorn buckets I wanted, that was a must, but was able to stuff things inside them to save space, haha. Also, some items tend to end up on Ebay or the like at some point - and the way I see it, if you consider the Admission Price plus the item price, then most things are still a deal!
Disney should have build a fifth park (in FL) with Avatar, Star Wars, and Avengers instead of fitting these themes to current parks and raise the price.
Those are super cool right? You can’t even tell if they’re wood or paper mache 🙌🏼 3:14 is Mitsukoshi in Japan at Epcot & the split edit at 3:15 looks like they’re the wood masks from Mombasa Marketplace at Animal Kingdom. Happy Hunting! ❤
Could you fo money saving tips for non US citizens. Am coming ftom ireland to Disneyworld in March 2025. Cant use tips like buying gift cards in Target , and would love to be able to use the Waterpark psss, but my international flight does not land until 7.30pm so no value to me as can only use on check in day. Love your Videos!
You can always check into a third party hotel the day you fly in and then check in to a Disney hotel the following day. This way you can get the water park pass the next day and put it to good use.
I keep watching about the free water park day but what if you’re from the UK and you don’t arrive to the Disney hotel till the evening, what happens to the free water park day then? Do you know? Thanks! 😊
This was Kinda made to sound like you can "add" money to a Disney gift card which im just now finding you can't do unless its at a Disney location. Did the friend buy a ton of $20 gift cards?
Since Disney updates their offers, if one select a a Disney offer from its website and books hotel and park tickets, and a better deal is announced, can we switch to the better deal?
There’s a good chance that you can, yes! To try, you’ll need to go to your My Disney Experience account and rebook your trip. Under the "My Plans, Reservation and Tickets" section, look for the option "Change/Modify Reservation.” That’s where you’ll be able to find any new "Special Offers" that you want to apply. If this doesn’t work, you can always call the Disney Hotel Reservations number and talk to a cast member about it. They’ll be able to help you out.
3 Day Doorbuster Sale at Sams Club this past weekend. $180 for a $200 gift card. Limit 4 per membership. They sold out in one day and I received mine the late evening of the final day, Sunday. It says emailed between 1-48 hours. I was super excited and super patient but I finally received my first e-card that I will possibly transfer to a hard card once my trip rolls around! 🎉
@@StitchStatch We gonna be at Disney at the same time. I’m checking in on January 6th. Worried about the dinner reservations though. I get scared there won’t be availability. Where you guys staying at?
I’m referring mainly to the parks because that’s what the channel is about. I won’t go back. Had way more fun at universal studios anyway and they have epic opening soon so I will spend my money there.
@ that’s cool but no need to be a bummer about it. People can enjoy both just as much as each other. Universal is more about the trills while Disney is more about the atmosphere and magic
@@ladonke8044honestly don’t think he was being a bummer. Just stating facts. I just got back from Disney and just for theme park tickets for a 4 day 5 family pass was over 3k. Not including lightning lanes or food. And each park that I did, a couple rides were temporarily closed most of the day. Universal would have been 2k for a 4 day 5 family pass. I get it though, universal could have some break downs as well but I still would have saved more from them. You are right about people can enjoy both and have fun . Even though some rides were down, still plenty to do but don’t think the price was worth it. If Disney would have had a deal on theme parks tickets then that’s a whole other story.
If you want to save money, dont go to the parks. Thats where the price is expensive, especially for a family of 4. Just stay at the resort, resort hop, disney springs. Plenty of things to do outside the parks.
Horrible advice. If you’re going to visit on a budget, stay off property. You can still visit the resorts if you’d like, and the money you save on a resort will go towards actually entering the parks lol

Your first idea is great
I say if I really want it, I will remember to buy it later when we get ready to leave or settle down for night time fireworks.
Just this weekend Sam’s club had the $200 gc for $180

Normalize using chapters on UA-cam videos
I thought their videos usually do have chapters? I see this one doesn't, but I could've swore they used to.
There's a nicer way to say this friend
Normalize not caring about that.

Thanks for the reminder about the Patina Group -- I keep forgetting to do that!

Ooooh, much respect! I might’ve caved in Tokyo Disney 🤣
Where all can the disney gift cards be spent
Anywhere on property
Disney should have build a fifth park (in FL) with Avatar, Star Wars, and Avengers instead of fitting these themes to current parks and raise the price.
oooh can you do a dining dupes guide booklet??
Yes, please do!!
I thought the free waterpark on check in day was for DVC Direct Point owner only. Good to know.
Are LL worth buying on days that MK has an early closure for night events (e.g., Halloween party, etc)? Crowd levels on those days seem lighter.
The masks at 3:15, where do you find those?

waterpark is included in our uk bought tickets already

Unfortunately, the free water park perk only works on your hotel check-in day.

Usually you can, you might have to call them.
Truly tell me how I can work for DFB Guide and go to Disney often?
Just go to Disney often, and start your own channel?

Number 1, and best way to save money on your next disney trip, just don't go, is not worth it!!!!
Any one else saving money by not going to Disney?
Best way to save money at Disney is to not spend it with them. Haha. They lost my business.
Okay bud
With the umbrella of companies they own, I highly doubt that...
