Very nice car /model you got there ! You can easily achieve the performance in this video with your tiguan allspace also with minor mods to your car like a propper lift kit : www.b2bfab.com/products/tiguancambercorrectingliftkit , a metal skidplate to protect the engine and gearbox and some pretty good all terrain tyres. Remember , the 4motion haldex system in VW cars is not the best but certanly not the worst , with propper tyres that give you the necessary grip , you will see what i am talking about !

Hi!! Great video! And nice Tiguan! ❤️ I've a 5n2 4motion but with factory 235 55 17 wheels... I find them too hard for my liking (Bridgestone HP Sport) ... Could I switch to 235 65 17 like you did? I've read that there's a supposed 3% tolerance when changing the factory wheel "size"... I don't know your Tiguan what size of wheels had from factory... Thanks!
You need ET 30 or lower on the rims so you cand fit the 235 65 R17 , i wold sugest 225 65 R17 for the optimal size or 235 60 R17 like my coopers right now :

I wonder if it is better to use the off road mode or not. I didn't notice the difference. Please help
For sand do NOT use the offroad mode ! Just lower tyre presure , ASR/ESP off and that's it . Offroad Mode is for mud , hill assist and hill descent control .

Continentals are better for sure. Michelin is only an allseason class tyre , while conti ATR is a AT class tyre . Go for Conti...
@@doomyro Thanks a lot man! Appreciate your feedback, my stock size is 215/70r16, the contis are 215/65r16, ill lose about 1cm of clearance but i think it's worth it
@@casablanca1706 yes it is worth it ! The car will feel lighter , Better gass /mileage also compensating for the tyre fuel class.
in sand you need 16psi of tyre pressure !
Yes i know that , it would of improved the grip , but the minimum tire pressure for the Michelins Cross is 1.5 bar or 22 psi , do not get lower acording to the manufacturer.

For sand it's not problem..
Try 22psi in the sand, still slot better then 35psi
@@amirst110 yes i know it is better but , on road with 22 psi i have handling issues, the car is unstable, lowest pressure i cand go on the highway is 28 psi , the lowest legal tyre pressure is 28 psi (2.0 bar) for road use in my country.

Salutare! Ești mulțumit de mașina și de capacitățile ei in afara șoselei? Intreb deoarece intentionez sa achiziționez un Tiguan. Manuala sau dsg?
Sunt multumit de ce poate cu modificarile aduse de mine , un tiguan stock nu ar putea sa faca fata la astfel de drumuri . Daca intentionezi sa faci si Offroad recomand manuala , pentru uz pe asfalt merge DSG.
DoomY 140 -170 sau 177? Nu știu prea multe despre motorul de 177 cp, cât este de fiabil. Haldexul este de tipul generației 5? In afara de egr, clapeta de acceleratie(admisie) și galeria de admisie, cred ca sunt motoare destul de reușite! Oscilam între rav4 și Tiguan. Multumesc pentru răspuns !
@@alejandroalejandro6144 Daca poti mergi pe 170 cel de dar nici cel de 140 nu este rau. Cel de 177 este de evitat dupa parerea mea. Probleme generale : EGR , Clapeta si rulment Cardan , care sunt punctele slabe ale acestei generatii . restul intra la consumabile. Eu am gen 4 cu filtru la Haldex dar pe aceasta generatie 5n2 poti gasi si gen 5 Haldex fara filtru , intre jumatate 2014 si jumatata 2015 au fost echipate ambele modele si nu exista un start/finish fix cand le gasesti pe cele cu gen 5 . Service-ul la haldex trebuie facut la maxim 40.000 km (recomandat de mine bazat pe ce am constatat la mine ) 60.000 recomandat vw.
Motoarele sunt reusite , dar au o mare pretentie : combustibil de calitate -> daca bagi Lukoil sau Mol masina va avea o personalitate foarte "bolnava" , cu OMV Max Motion merge fin , foarte "sanatos" . Acest lucru se vede si pe injectoare daca stai sa studiezi.
DoomY Preponderent alimentez doar de la OMV cu carburant Max Motion sau Petrom. Multumesc pentru informațiile oferite. O sa evit atunci motorul de 177cp.
so the questions is : should you turn off or on the ESC when driving on sand ? i have 2019 162tsi tiguan that i want to take it to sand
It depends on how trigger happy is your foot on the gas pedal, varries from person to person .
Was your tyre A/t or H/t(stock tyres ) ?
