My 2018 f150 5.0 ran worse. I lost a lot of torque then when I switched back to motorcraft I got that low end torque back. I think it has to do with these new electronic throttle body’s now instead of a wire go figure?
Yeah like I lost torque. I put back the motorcraft and the low end power came back. I must of went back and forth 10 times before I determined that the motorcraft ran better
@@ernestrodriguez6851 make sure your air filter housing is clamped down closed tight, any updates on this or did you just get rid of the K&N air filter?
Did you notice any increase on gas milage or hp?
To be honest, No I haven't but I don't have to worry about those cheap air filters getting dirty and changing.
Almost 8 qts? I thought the 5.0 took 8.9 Qts am I wrong?

@@terrygermano4555 yes I do! Mine just runs so much better with a motorcraft then a k&n drop in filter.

I think the intake is different on the ecoboost vs the V8
