My cat Dexter, who is in recovery from surgery, was watching every minute of this, but fell asleep 34 minutes in. I took a pic, it was actually quite adorable. He especially enjoyed the part with the flashlight.
Ok, idk where else to say this, but i was getting my glasses repaired and there was a lady that was like, measuring thr glasses on my face to see how they would fit. So she had a marker and was drawing on the lenses and I was like woah, asmr in real life!

I know this video is over 2 years old but it’s important that I say this. I’ve watched a ton of ASMR videos in the past couple years, usually to help me sleep or relax. And they have all done such a great job at it. This video is my number one go to because it has been the only one to calm me down when I’ve been having an anxiety attack. It’s engaging, it’s relaxing, and it’s been able to stop my anxiety every single time. I wrote this comment almost minutes after I was beginning to have an anxiety attack and I started to watch this video and as always, it worked. Just wanted to say thank you for making such great videos and being able to help me not only relax and sleep, but calm myself down. It really says a lot that a video like this has that much effect on a person.

One thing, Sophie, I love about you and your videos is the nostalgia I get for a place and time decades behind me now. I left the UK to live elsewhere in Europe over twenty years ago but my parents and their family are or were from your way. Your manners and positivity are reminiscent of earlier times, at least for me. Better times in the UK.

i work nights in a store and was struggling to sleep for quite a long period until a friend mentioned asmr to me, i heard sophies voice and instantly found it soothing, these days i use this one video fairly regularly to help me sleep, tried so many others but i don't get the same deep sleep effect that i get from Sophie! thanks for greatly helping a guy who has to sleep during the day to then serve people at night during this troubled time for all of us due to corona virus :)

Love your videos! I think a really cool way to take your roleplays to the next level is to take in a character’s looks and costume as well as personality. I know that the whole point is to bring your own touch to things but These kinda of videos can be made by anyone. You have the perfect voice and ideas already, it’s time to jump out of your comfort zone!
