don't bother with the boot led as I found it doesn't work anymore as the audi canbus system stops power.so just stick to standard or led with a resitor

So I have installed these on my 2006 TT 8j, and the one in the boot flashes fora asecond or two and then shuts off, in the description you said to connect a resistor to it, could you give me any help with figuring out how to add a resistor to it 😅 also, thank you for the tutorial and thank you in advance for the answer to my question if you happen to answer it.

Just done my front 5 - perfect though the glove box bulb was a bit hotttt.
What's the issue you had with the boot?
Cheers mate 👍 the problem i had with the boot is that it worked when I first fitted it then I closed the boot and opened again the light didn't come on so tried it a few times and nothing.after doing some research the boot is on the canbus system and as the bulb is such a low voltage the car couldn't recognise it so it didn't work. But my mates one works fine.the only difference between his and mine is his is a face lift model

I'm looking into improving my headlights as I'm now driving a lot in the dark and it's not the best. Have you done any investigations?
Thanks mate .no not done anything with headlights yet I might change them to led see how that works out seen them with led and look a lot brighter but its not daily so not sure yet

Definitely it makes such a difference to the look of the car 👍🏻
It’s a nice bod but be careful doing it. The vanity lights were tough to get back in for me, and for the middle lights the one on the left didn’t work, and now just doesn’t work, so that sucks.
So how long did yours last Chris? ...because mine started dying after about 6 months 🤦♂️
Mine still all works now 👍🏻
