The clear and frosted effect that goes around the stand is technically Sakura casting "The Windy" card (hence why the frosted part has a wind-like effect to it)
This brings back happy memories of my childhood back when CLAMP did series like this. Plus this reminds me of the days where CLAMP didn't do dark ass series like Blood C.

The Series is being rebooted with the Sequel! (20 Years Later... ;_; )
There's already the OVA out that bridges the way the Anime ended with the way the Manga ended so the Anime Sequel can follow the "New" (1 year old by now...) Manga Sequel...
They even got the same People (VAs, Director, Story writer/adapter, Animation Studio (MadHouse!), etc. ...) that made the Anime so Awesome in the first place to make the new one! (some say it's the only Anime that's clearly much better than the source material, in this case, Manga - After Watching and Reading both, I have to agree!)
Sakura Kinomoto is the VERY FIRST anime girl i got a crush on... that time i was like 8 yrs old (2003) after i watched the very first anime that took me into the depth of anime world, Gundam Seed (2002)

That figure is super huge! I think it's worth every single Yen. A friend of mine is still waiting for it to arrive, he has no idea of how big it is, he won't know where to display it. I'm not a CCS fan, but the figure is so beautiful that if I had enough money and space, I'd have bought it for sure. My only compliant is that not only Saturn should've come with rings, but also Jupiter, but that's a minor detail.
Alot of my friends has this figure, this looks so beautiful even tho i haven't watched the show i want to get one. This Looks so good to Display

It's Awesome!.
It's, hands down, one of the best "Magical Girl" show of all time!. (not a deconstruction nor a subversion - a True Classical "Manly Shoujo")
And it doesn't have a "stupid" magical girl transformation.
She still, normally, changes clothes though... She has a LOT of cute battle outfits!. Thank her BFF.
Also, for the time (1998-2000), it was the only one to touch all kinds of Taboo relationships in a organic/natural way when most people just kept way clear of those.
It was also the only truly "For ALL Ages" "Magical Girl" Show. Little girls (and boys) loved it and the Adults/Teenagers were the ones to pick up on those subtle Taboo relationships.
It was also one of the rare shows where the main character had a Romantic subplot that actually went places! (instead of finishing off in "limbo"...)

Beware!: Stay well clear of that USA remake trainwreck that changed the story into a bland grey crap of a show!.
Stick with the original awesome Voice Actors (Japanese) with Subtitles and you should be safe. And at the same time, get the best version of the show! (Those awesomely in-show sang songs.... Hmmm...)
Getting to watch it in most of the world is, sadly, relegated to legally breaking methods for the most part... And even those are difficult...
It was the time before the birth of fansubbing as there was little to no internet to make it happen... Most are DVD rips... But they mostly disappeared from the internet too...
