    My nail tech always told me acrylic powder and dip nail powder is the same thing. Only when you add the monomer is when the acrylic is activated differently.

      Yesenia Estrella De Anda Thank you so much for all the valuable information you give us!!! Like others have already commented, your videos are amazing because you go the extra step regarding how informative they are. I also wanted to know if there is a way to give the nails more curve, especially if you like them medium to long? The two issues I’ve had with dip nails is being able to achieve strength and lack of curve. It seems that you’ve been able to achieve the strength by the way you build your nails, but I still miss the curve when wearing dip nails. I was wondering if you can build the curve up when you’re building your apex or the strength area of the nail? Please let me know. Btw...I’m a new Sub!!!! 🖤 you & your channel!!!

    I was looking for a alternative way to do my own nails and this system is the way to go. Even your non dominant hand looks good. I found this quite easy to do, not much filing and the nails look good and they are as strong as acrylics. Using the pipette is so much easier than dipping the nail. I found you quite some time ago and am thankful for your dipping videos. I watched so so many and yours is the simplist and explained the best. It is the one I refer to all the time.

    Hi Yesenia--- I am new to this whole dip thing... I am 4 dips in & I love it.. yesterday I mistakenly purchased acrylic instead of the dip powder - so I found you doing a tube search on how to use it & so happy it's basically the same thing.. I thank you for this video- I think all us that love doing our nails need your video in their life :) I haven't been to the nail salon for years due to the fact I paid $50 a pop & the last time I went she gave me a greenie which I had no idea what it was but ended up losing most of my nail & had to take meds for 3 months to get rid of it... so now I am learning myself :-) you are pretty amazing & I loved your video & have subscribed to your channel. I'm almost embarrassed that I have NEVER thought of, or told any tech to build up my apex!! I ALWAYS have my tips break off after about 2 weeks because for one I get them pretty long. a little longer than yours in this video, & I work with food and wash my hands ALL the time.
    I'm also OCD with germs, so I'm always hand washing!
    or I bump them at work and home!
    the rest of the nail is always still great and in tact, except a few tips always break and it's super frustrating!
    especially when I'm paying $80 for nails!!

      Don't be embarrassed you don't do nails your a customer that is trusting in your nail tech. An apex is something that takes time to accomplish. Know that you understand it you know what to look for which is great especially when your spending your money. I would get a lot of clients who wanted paper thin nails and I would explain to them why an apex is important and that by the cuticle are and free edge (end of the nail) I would do it thin enough but the Apex I would add the support and they were so Understanding. Any other questions you have let me know. I also have other videos were I try to give as much info as I can ❤️ thanks for watching 💕

    Hi Yesenia, I have only just found you site & I have to say the way you demonstrated this Dip system was really good & so much simpler than many others I've seen, so thank you very much. I am now going to trawl my way through your other video's & I'd like to add that your voice is very pleasant to listen to. With love from across the pond Xv

    Thank you for this video. I use the young nails dip powder system. It works for me. Steps 1-3 haha. I was struggling doing nail extensions with dip. The sides always were bulky, and doing all those layers did leave it gummy when filing. I will try this method. Again, thank you!

    • @YeseniaEstrellaDeAnda
      @YeseniaEstrellaDeAnda  5 років тому +1

      Thanks so much Esmeralda it's all trial and error. I learn work and focused on the center that will take away from bulky sides and use activator between 2-3 layers and that solved my issue. Thanks for taking time out to comment 💞

    did you use the base and then the clear powder then seal protect then repeat or did you use seal and protect then powder then seal protect over top?also did you use bond before you started anything else to prime the natural nail area?
