@@JakeBroe It is the same with Playlists. Up until about two years ago you could add an complete Playlist to an own Playlist. It was very useful because on your own playlist you could delete the videos that you have already seen. For example with an Lets play with more than 100 Videos. Normally i can't watch more than 20 Videos of one Game, because its getting bored for me. Now you have to write down somewhere what is the next Video to watch.

These are just folders. Which you can do with Crome bookmarks. You just won't have the nice little icons on the folders ( unless I just haven't yet found out how).

Why does the right to left sliding stop at a certain point now, on the icon bar, instead of moving to the very end of the channels subbed to? When I get new postings, they show at the left, yet when i go to check other channels, it stops sliding, like if I have the setting at newest, they stop at the "C" or "D" section, and wont go beyond that, unless I go into a couple of channels, then that moves the icons to the left by 2, and the 2 channel icons I couldnt get to, are now accessible, but can't go beyond those, as the bar won't slide any farther, and I have to go into the view All section to get to them. Some channels I'm subbed to are old or have old content (i.e. 80s or older wrestling clips).
A few years ago, the subscription list on youtube was listed in alphabetic order AND separate also in alphabetic order channels with new videos and channels with no new videos.

Hmmm, I highly recommend using Chrome or Firefox while on your mac. They are free to download. Both of their app stores have this extension (links in the description). I looked, and it doesn't look like Safari has it.

Nope, anything you organize will be for just that browser and on that computer. If you try chrome on a different computer even logged in to your account, your subscriptions won’t appear managed.
Hello i ask you a question before. This question is about different categorys. Now do the category can take an unlimited galore of subscriptions? If not whats the limit, also the playlist does that have a limit?

I see now that YT is like WallyWorld and other stores, they rearrange things so you have to walk by things you would not normally buy in order to get to the things you came for originally. I would like to know if there is an app (I am not really computer literate) to put the subscriptions in alphabetical order, regardless of subject matter. Just to list them in order by the name of the channel is what I want.
I do not know of such an app. You are correct in the the subscription manager I use also does not alphabetize them. I think the problem with this is that channels would start their names with "AA" or characters in order to be at the top of the list if stuff was alphabetized.
@@JakeBroe I imagine you would be correct on the "jumping the line" with the "AA" tactic. This is why we can't have nice things. I may go ahead and group the different channels in category groups like you have explained. At least that would be easier on my eyes, that aren't as good as they used to be, in finding a particular/specific channel instead of having to scroll thru the whole column. Thanks, Paul.

Haha, I agree. I don't know why UA-cam has to make it so difficult, but this is the best we can do.
If Chrome is used to *organize* subscriptions, will the newly organized stuff display similarly if subsequently using a browser *other* than Chrome?
Nope, anything you organize will be for just that browser and on that computer. If you try chrome on a different computer even logged in to your account, your subscriptions won’t appear managed.
