The SM's official answer is that it contains the story of Gyeonwoo and Jikji, but a lot of things from the date of the music video announcement to the content come to mind. The fruits in the red-flavored music video symbolize the red velvet members, so each member has their own color, There are also symbolic fruits.

They accepted a contract to transport building supplies to an island base and instead of splitting the load over several ships and/or trips they loaded more than twice the weight limit of the ferry. The South Korean government's Board of Audit and Inspection later revealed that the Register's licensing was based on falsified documents. The ship was rated for 987 tons of cargo, the ship left port with over 2,100 tons. The captain is definitely high on this list, he and 11 crewmen were brought up on charges. The captain had ordered the passengers to stay in their cabins for safety as the ship was severely listing. However he never called for abandon ship when it was determined that the ship could not be saved. He and the other crewmen left the passengers behind. Many passengers died in their cabins. The Korean Coast Guard were shut down after this incident. The Korean news media kept reporting just plain wrong information about the ferry sinking. Korean government kept refusing help from outside the country, including U.S. Navy help. One of the few survivors was the vice principal of the school that was on the ferry. He later committed suicide stating he would "continue teaching his students in heaven." The chairman of the ferry company was found dead in a farm field. The president of Korea at the time was impeached over the incident and it was later found out the she had created a "black list" of artists that would not receive any government acknowledgement or sponsorship. This was to censor artists that commemorated the victims of the disaster. She also set up a commission to monitor and prosecute any critics of her administrations handling of the ferry disaster. Members of her cabinet were convicted and sentenced to jail. The entire thing was a shitshow and lead to the deaths of about 250 students, about 50 other passengers, 2 rescue divers and 5 emergency workers. Sorry for the long post. The Sewol Ferry disaster kind of hit home. Both my father and I were members of the U.S. Coast Guard and I couldn't imagine how the Korean Coast Guard performed so poorly, bad enough to be dismantled completely. Out of these 3 songs my favourite would be Red Flavor but it's like choosing your favourite child... Bad Boy is the song that convinced me to look deeper into Red Velvet and ultimately become a fan. The Bad Boy video is very gay and suggestive. For example, the book the girls are reading and holding translates to "This is not a lip" Even though it looks like lips one sideways. Some suggest that it's a certain female body part. Also since the song is called Bad Boy, it's odd that there isn't a man in sight. Even the mannequins are female. And lastly on the bed, Yeri and Seulgi are wearing shirts that say meow and cherry, again slang that could describe female anatomy. And of course, the unicorn rainbow float being included which is commonly used as a symbol for lgbtq+.

One of these nights is supposed to be a tribute to the sinking of a ferry that killed a lot of school kids. They were told to stay in their cabins but when the ship sank they were trapped there. One of these nights is supposed to be a tribute to the sinking of a ferry that killed a lot of school kids. They were told to stay in their cabins but when the ship sank they were trapped there. In the video everything ends in water and darkness.
