I hope you guys check out their appearance on killing voice, even if it's not for a reaction vid. It's a longer vid around 34 minutes but shows off their insane vocal ability and versatility as singers. Their title tracks can be extremely eccentric compared to other groups but their b-sides are always bangers. Probably the best harmonies in the game
Their music is reflected in their name. Their "red" side is mainly bubbly pop, electronic and funk whilst their "velvet" explores a more mature side to their music; their ballads and rnb type songs. They have some great bside songs that you guys will enjoy.
3:22 The guy at the right was feeling it while this song delved into the tragic Seoul ferry incident You should check out the documentaries around what went down it is heartbreaking
This song is about the sewol ferry tragedy that happened in South korea in 2014. A ferry with mostly students on a field trip sunk, killing 250 students. The South korean cost guard and government didn't help at all and just let the ship sink with the children inside. They even refused help from american marine ship with over 1000 marines in it, with expertise being air sea rescue. Yall should react to rotten mango sewol ferry tragedy video. It's long as hell but rly well made. Edit: Also the reaction was great, just sad that yall didn't know the context. It could've been easier to understand how they wanted to keep the melancholic sad beat thru out the song without much drops in the beat. But even still, reaction was great!
@@BeechBoyzTV it's not officially confirmed to be about the Sewol ferry tragedy (officially it's about a folklore) but the bulletin board Wendy passes in the beginning has written "AIS on 15-16" on it. AIS is a maritime distress signal and the Sewol ferry stopped sending their signal on april 15 or 16, as the ferry was tilted for hours and sunk in the early morning hours. The choice to have Yeri dying in the boat also points to this, as she is the only member as young as most of the victims. There have been other SM songs associated with this tragedy too.
this is alittle closer to the side of red velvet that we were trying to show you guys still not 100% there yet though you guys are still not hitting THOSE songs which are -perfect 10 -underwater -kingdom come
