USA Costco does not have bubble/boba drinks, bbq chicken pizza and mango slushie. The churro we have does not come with sauce...it's just plain churro lolol. Australia definitely has a wider menu compared to USA! We do have açaí bowls, sundaes, cheese pizza, pepperoni/pepperoni sausage pizza, combination pizza, chicken sandwich, churro, hotdog + drink.

Not a big deal, I do it at stores all the time and it has nothing to do with getting free ice. If you buy something that is perishable or needs to stay frozen or cold like fish, you fill up a bag with ice and put it in a cooler with the items until you get home. Most Asian grocery stores like H Mart have big bins with ice and bag dispensers just for that purpose.
Although the American membership cards have a chip in them that means they can activate the pump for petrol. Our UK cards don’t have that so I couldn’t fill up my hire car.

We used to eat everything in Costco just like you and Delana but sad to say it eventually all caught up with us and now been on keto for a while and both down 45lbs each. But boy watching you two eat all of our favorites brings back some fond food memories. Thanks. And, can't wait for you to come to the USA and tour the states.
Costco is so similar here in California! The food court also varies regionally, but the hot dogs (beef here in USA), pizza, chicken bakes and salad are the same pretty much everywhere. We have had BBQ brisket sandwiches, turkey sandwiches and al pastor salad at other locations. It would be fun to try out the Australian versions though :)

your costco appears to be more environmentally friendly when placing the foods in paper, or boxes for the pizza slice, as the ones here in Hawaii would put the chicken bake wrapped into aluminum foil, and the pizza slices into a plate covered with aluminum foil. The exterior crust portion on the pizza slice looks actually larger and covers more than the pizza slices here.

The pizza choices in Philly are cheese, pepperoni, and supreme (sausage, onion, green peppers, etc.). Hot dog/drink, French fries, chicken bake, Caesar salad, cheeseburger, churros, frozen yogurt with fruit sauce. No chicken sandwich. I don't know about Costcos outside of Pennsylvania, but here the state control liquor, so no alcohol sales at Costco. They just recently let grocery stores sell wine and beer, but they have to have a pub or cafe to do so. If you want hard liquor, you have to go to a 'state store.' There are 'beer distributors' the are privately owned and they also sell soda.
We still have most things. One thing that has changed is the ordering process, they have kiosks instead of waiting in line. And to put gherkins or ketchup/mustard sauce, they have to do it behind the register :)

Your Costco looks identical to those in the States, your not "missing out" at all. Of course there are differences in branding, but the type and variety of products are much the same. The best thing about Costco's everywhere is the quality of their products. They are more upscale here, especially when compared to Sam's Club. If your not familiar with Sam's Club, it's Walmarts warehouse club. To me, Costco is the Disneyland of shopping. Thanks for another fun video you guy's!
I am currently based in Taiwan, Taiwanese costco have/had Korean beef bulgoggi bake, peking duck pizza, clam chowder, beef&cheese burger, spicy garlic fried chicken, caramel sundae and honey&lemon smoothie that are different than Australian costco back home. And I found four&twenty pies in the frozen section which I am bloody pumped for! Not as good as pies back home but it really helps with my homesickness!
I used to go to the Costco food court in between classes when I was in college! The most convenient and affordable way to get lunch for a broke college student who forgot to make her food haha
My Costco in Southern California has Churros which is only..$1.50. BBQ brisket sandwich, cheese pizza, combo pizza, pepperoni pizza, chicken bake, chef salad, hot turkey pesto panini, hot dog, iced coffee, mixed berry smoothie, chocolate Sunday, berry Sunday. Soda pop, and seasonal hot chili only during the winter months.

costco food started because some guy would show up with a hotdog van outside one of the main stores that an executive would go to and he liked the hotdogs ... so then they started selling hotdogs only in the stores but they never raised the price of the hotdog.. there is some story where the ceo was like IF YOU RAISE THE PRICE OF THE HOTDOG I AM KICKING YOUR BUTT... so then they never did.. and then they started selling the hotdogs by the case .. and then they sold other food...
Those Chicken burgers are the bomb! They used to have a beef bulgogi wrap, which has been replaced by that chicken wrap thing. For those Americans asking why the menu items are more expensive here, cost of living is super expensive in Melbourne & Sydney especially. The hotdog & soda at under $3.00 is insanely cheap when compared to McDonalds here, where a medium Big Mac meal is around $12.00. Incomes are higher as a result - It would be hard to live on $45K a year or less in Melbourne... Needless to say, there is no 'Walmart Army' on $15 bucks an hour or less here...

Here in the US they stop serving the salad. And that was my FAVORITE thing to get at the food court. The only thing we can get here becuase of Covid is the hotdog, cheese & pepperoni pizza, berry smoothie & the vanilla ice cream. Australia’s Costco looks very similar to the Costco here. That chinese lady getting that ice reminds me of when I was in San Jose, CA getting gas for my car at a Costco, a chinese man next to me was washing his 'whole car' with the windshield washer fluid and wand while his gas tank was filling up. It took him maybe 10 mins. WTH? People behind him were waiting but to no avail, he wouldn't move until he got all parts of his car 'clean'. LOL.

If you have a Costco credit card from Citi, its chip can be used to activate the gas pump and pay (if desired).

Michigan we have pizza, hot dogs and those chicken bake things. Also you can only get ketchup and mustard and they have to give it to you.
In New Zealand the only things open were supermarkets and petrol stations, no fast food restaurants

We used to have a turkey Swiss sandwich on a ciabatta bun with pesto and tomato that was delicious! I’m hoping it comes back after Covid19

Funny how Costco Setup is similar to the states. OMG.. You have the Hawaiian Pizza.. Something is definitely wrong with the COSTCO in the states, we have a lame old menu.

It's only been a recent thing to have Bubble tea at Costco but I'm glad they did. 🙂
Here in the US they stop serving the salad. And that was my FAVORITE thing to get at the food court. The only thing we can get here becuase of Covid is the hotdog, cheese & pepperoni pizza, berry smoothie & the vanilla ice cream.
Australia’s Costco looks very similar to the Costco here. But they do have different items.

That chinese lady getting that ice reminds me of when I was in San Jose, CA getting gas for my car at a Costco, a chinese man next to me was washing his 'whole car' with the windshield washer fluid and wand while his gas tank was filling up. It took him maybe 10 mins. WTH? People behind him were waiting but to no avail, he wouldn't move until he got all parts of his car 'clean'. LOL.
