Hi Ed, nothing can be a Film replacement, but since 2021 I start making film emulations for digital age. There's a lot of tecnique for achieving film look, everyday is a step into accurate emulation.
I have been using film and stopping myself from over-using it by setting a limit on how many rolls I use an outing. For a weekend, I only use 3 rolls. If it's an event, no more than 5. Once I'm done, I use a digital camera. I can't afford to buy film unless it's in bulk and then the developing and scanning add to that. If you could make a video discussing developing that would be great!
Really? I didnt know this. But some local labs in my town and other places seem to be out of control as of late. I think that's the main issue haha. It needs to be regulated.

Yea im about the same, i really try and feel moments out by starting with digital. If things improve and im all warmed up ill load up some film.

Kodak's prices are dropping. Ultramax, Colorplus and Gold are definitely lower than Lomography's at the moment in the US.
