Just got my black M11 last week for a steal, I couldn't resist. Also why are the chrome ones cheaper? Personally I had a change of heart, after listening to many UA-cam M11 shutter videos I was convinced that the M11 shutter sounded awful but in use it's quite nice, interestingly I was not a fan of the M10 shutter as I thought it lacked something and wasn't satisfying enough. Give it time I think with use you will learn to embrace the sound and subtle "haptic" feedback with every press.
im not sure why as I originally wanted black as well. But funny enough as I was editing this video I record the m11 shutter for the opening and I was like you know what it's growing on me haha.

Had to dump my M11 for bricking too many times...M11-P is my daily now. Hope yours isn't a lemon.
It did at first but it was because my sd card. Once I put the proper card in it’s been fine

A Leica m11p is probably my end game camera but due to the price I'm going to hold off for a while. I currently have a Sony A7RV, and a Canon 7Dmkii, as well as a backordered FujiFilm X100VI. There's just something about Leica's that I Love. I've been looking at some Voigtlander Nokton glass for my Sony to help with the urge to buy a Leica.

It's funny because, I think the exact opposite about the M10 shutter sound. I had a M10-P and now have a M10, and I can't stand the louder shutter sound in the streets, I really don't like it compared to the next models.
