Water tank? Somehow...gutter the yurt then maybe a series of Stryker transported small tanks that are off ground with taps on bottom? I don't know really but some sort of catchment would save lugging water from stream. Good luck can't wait to see what you choose!👍🤙🙏
Blessed couple!!!!! Please continue inspiring God is truly people!!!!! The whole world watched and will watch you more and more, the place is spectacular thank you God!!!!
Confused....saw this video the other day, and you ended the video, when you moved the stove inside. You would next get the material to complete the install on another video...so why is this a “ premier” video?

Been away for a month and my boyfriend and I chose not to watch any of your videos while we were abroad so that we could binge watch them as soon as we got home! 😂 Sure beats netflix! Congrats and thanks for sharing!
I hope you guys didn’t get hit by the earthquake. When I moved here I had to buy earthquake insurance, I thought that was a little extreme lol. Loving the scenery.
I think this is so amazing what y’all are doing! Thanks for sharing your journey and adventure with this new life you’ve chosen together. I love how y’all encourage each other and work as a team. Very inspiring videos in many ways. Keep up the good work!❤️
Do you know you can also deep fry the chick peas and mix with salt, garlic and hot pepper if wanted and eat it as a snack just like peanuts? Like that it is called channa in Trinidad and Tobago. It can also be curried and used as a side dish. Here we curry it with potatoes. Curried, it is used is a Trinidadian Street food called doubles.

@@zhungquan I can't wait for Part 2 ! Wood stove sitting on a wood floor, inches away from flammable wall ! I lived in a house heated with a smaller wood stove. I know how hot they can get and how hot surfaces nearby can get.
So let's think about this "installation" so far. They have a say, 1000 lbs stove, resting on 4 legs, with maybe a total of 8 square inches on contact. I don't know what the support structure is underneath that 3/4" plywood sub floor but if it is not 2x10 on 16" centers, there is a potential problem ! The plywood could flex enough to break the adhesive and screw bonds to the beam and then fail. This would take time, but they are SO FAR BEYOND THE SAFE LOADING LIMITS it could happen ! Either add PROPER bracing underneath (𝑁𝑂𝑇 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑡𝑜𝑒 𝑛𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒 2𝐵𝑦𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑠𝑒 "𝑏𝑒𝑎𝑚𝑠") 𝙊𝙍 raise the stove and place the legs on some 4x6s that span 2 beams.

How did you place the wood stove vent pipe through the wall of the yurt. It gets hot and the yurt is combustable material isn't it ? I did not see that . The picture shows you with a fire going .
Great work guys. Was just thinking what if you built another few yurts all close together and somehow linked them with some kind of hallway system. One could be the bedroom, one the kitchen and one the sitting area. Certainly a big project but how cool would your home be! Keep up the good work!
Learn to use low range on the transfer case so you can crawl better, throttle response/control, climb better, and keep from burning up the transmission. The truck's also burning oil, thus leaving more footprint..lol
I think the concept of what you guys are doing is amazing! The video and editing throws me a bit off tho. Same footage seems to be repeating and it comes forward as too scattered. Would like to give it a like if this becomes better :)
You two are tooooo much!! I was on the edge of my chair watching you using your smarts and leverage (and a little luck?) getting that stove into the Yurt. I'm exhausted!! LOL
Honey I know you want to be off grid but honestly get some more batteries and only use the electric when absolutely need it ... like for making humas. I absolutely love your homestead it is really shaping up fantastic.
I AM SOOO SORRY, I should have thought about it before this but they make stove casters for old, heavy cast Iron stoves and fireplaces. One under each leg.

I don't know if there are any guidelines for a wood stove, but personally I'd have two large fire extinguishers just in case.
Awesome!!!
Where did you get the wood stove?! :)

Hi Jake, did you make the hummus with raw garbanzo beans??
