It’s a nice looking bike. The simple fact that you did it and you didn’t pay someone else to do it. The only way you learn and get new ideas, is to do it. 👍
Thanks brother! That was the whole goal! It’s a kit so I still didn’t have to fabricate anything, but I still had to learn a lot. Thanks for commenting and watching!
Spraying compressed air under the grips like you did the wd40 works really good sometimes. Killer build though im hoping to pick up a shadow soon to play with
That’s a great tip, thanks dude. Thank you for the compliment. I’m glad I got one, it’s been fun to work on and not worry about keeping it in perfect condition.
Thank you, I really appreciate that. It’s honestly hard to say because I broke it up over the winter after a long work trip. It’s worth it though especially if you don’t have the tools/equipment to do an actual bobber job.
Riders don't patina bikes enough you could have done it on the headlight surround too, but I can see why you didn't also. I would have been tempted to spray the wheels gold. Personal choice. Definitely not a shadow of it's former self. Nice first job!
Literally none. I was expecting to have to re-coat a few times, but I haven’t had to. The only thing that happened was minor chips and some road debris. But with that paint job it’s an easy cover up

I appreciate it! I know it’s not for everyone, but I wanted something a little different!
Very nicely done! I’m curious, about how long did it take you to complete everything?

Not a fan of the rust patina but with deep gloss black paint and some pin striping ... yeah.
That sounds dope too! Thanks for watching!!!
How much of paint has flaked off already?
