  • Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the Conrail Roster Picture show. This was a great time to be photographing Conrail with the so many roads that folded into Conrail April 1st, 1976. You never knew what you would see sitting around engine terminal's and out on the road.
Back then, you could just drive into an engine terminal, walk up to a railroad employee, ask for permission, which we were always granted, roam around responsibly and take pictures without a hassle. We would never climb on equipment or photograph employees at work, and then thank the person and let them know when we leave the property. You certainly can't do that today.
Photo locations are, ex-Erie Croxton Yard and terminal, Secaucus, NJ. Penn Central Kearny NJ engine terminal, Lehigh Valley Oak Island terminal, Newark, NJ. CNJ's Allentown PA. terminal. CNJ's E-Port yard and terminal, CR's Shire Oaks, PA. and W. Brownsville, PA. PC and Reading in Camden, NJ. Baltimore, MD, Rahway and South Amboy NJ are also photographed.
All pictures were taken by myself. I do not, and will not use or share anyone else material. That's just how I roll.
Please be sure to check out my many other video clips. God Bless

Great video Jack. I especially like that you caught LV Alco 630, supposedly the only LV Alco 628 that operated in all three LV color schemes before retirement. It was one of the original "Snowbirds".

Great slide show. Very interesting pictures. Thank you for sharing these with us. Hartwell RR in Lavonia GA is still running engine #1973 in original CR colors.

Happy New Year, Jack the GOAT! Great slideshow video. I was rock'n away to the music while remembering most of these old lines and locos. I felt like I was being transported thru time. Thanks for introducing me to Jeremy Blake's music.

At time 3:59, that's the time I was hostling at the Meadows Motor Pit. I'm wondering if that's me on that E44!

@@gordonvincent731 we got a few rides down there. The picture of the CNJ 3063 coupled to the PC 6509 we got a short ride in. I remember that old GE had a wooden floor, I use to stop down there in a bright red 71 Chevy C10 pickup.
