This is a snapshot of a certain time, a certain era. It was when there was a genuine white working class that was reflected on and catered for on television.
I've seen about five episodes. I've never seen it before. I was working away from home in the 80s'. Interesting. Would have been great had it been out in 1972 or so. Good mixture of characters, all bonding through their sharing of a job with unsociable hours. Typical fayre, but it doesn't deserve the reputation of being the worst sitcom ever. It's more valuable than ever now, since the passing of doorstep deliveries - a whole way of life.
