    Thanks guys!!! It was really fun to watch the podcast every week this last season!!! I am truly disappointed with this loss though. As much as I know we weren't that talented I didn't think we would lose today. Especially the embarrassing way they did. I would have been really happy with a win today and a chance to face KC! Oh well!!! As a Chargers fan I am used to disappointment but after the loss in Jacksonville 2 years ago I really thought this team would win at least one playoff game. Things are looking up. We have a terrific coach but next year I think the expectations will go up. I hope they make a real leap next season!!!

    Our skill players are the worst in the NFL. PERIOD. We have ONE WR , that's it. QJ is a coach/QB killer.

      This was never our year. We knew about our deficiencies this off-season but performed better than expected thanks to great coaching and draft/budget free agents. But Herbert was depending guys like Chark, QJ and Dissly to make plays with unblocked rushers in his face. Against the leading sack duo and allpro Stingley. Sucks we went out like this but overall the future still looks bright cuz for once I trust the coach and gm.

    You guys are going to have to look toward the draft. WRs aren't going to wanna play in the Greg Roman offense. This is what Lamar went through for four years, with Roman. Terrible passing scheme, predictable running game that only his running made unpredictable, Bottom 5 WR rooms.

  • @Baron12_82
    @Baron12_82 28 днів тому +1

    I think Dissly did enough to be a tight end 2 for us next year. He earned a spot because he did WAY more then what he thought he would do. Our lack of receivers and interior line really showed. This was another wasted year for Herbert (he deserve a lot of blame last night as well). Let's be honest, we didn't expect to be in the playoffs this year. We just didn't want to lose like this, but it was inevitable due to our exposed weaknesses.

    I have fought for Herbert tooth and nail since he’s been on the team. I know that the interior lineman and the WR/TE room is not a strength. However, no team has a completely perfect roster front to back. Especially with the defense winning the turnover battle and putting up a fight so strongly up front and handing you multiple turnovers and possessions. They should have bare minimum punched in at least one of those opportunities if not more. Herbert is going to get ripped to shreds all offseason and honestly longer than that and deservedly so I have no excuses for him this time.
    I am overall proud of this team’s progress I am not ashamed I am looking forward to the future. We’ve got a boatload of draft picks and a fortune of cap space to work with to turn this team into the perennial juggernaut that we all dream and envision this team being.
    It’s going to be an offseason of excitement with the moves that are coming in the near future roster wise and an offseason of pain for the fans having to deal with haters in the media and at large squawking at us for over a year here.

If Herbert had some people with hands then maybe wouldn't have to hold onto the ball trying to find Ladd. Our run game scared nobody. Not saying Alt isn't a future HOF'r kind of guy, but when you loose every single weapon both at RB ( Ekler may have lost a step, but he could make up for it in blocking and his hands)
      Every WR except a 3 or 4th receiver in Palmer. You need to replace them. SMH at Harbaugh infatuated in Herberts skillset only to hand off snd scramble for his life haha.

  • @fredcano7310
    @fredcano7310 29 днів тому +1

    No, not everyone is talking trash. Football savvy people know we have a good team missing good (to great) players in key positions. The reason QJ looked bad, the reason Will Dissly looked bad, the reason Herbert looked terrible, was the same reason Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and other great QBs looked bad at times, poor offensive line protection. Our defense did great most of the game even without any help from the offense. We need at very least, good Offensive Linemen, but if they are great, that much better. Thank you Bozeman, thank you Salyer, Pipkin (and I would even add Zion but I'll give him a pass today) for your 2024 services. We need to draft (or via free agency) a great Center and at very least, one great Guard. Yes, we do need other positions, but Offensive Linemen is HUGE to the improvement of an 11-7 season with a terrible end. Herbert was either sacked or pressured all game long, even when we scored 6 points at the beginning, he was pressured, hence the reason we scored FGs and not TDs. Again, every QB, whether bad, good, or great will not have a good game if your O-line can't pass-block the rushing defensive players. It is a great thing that those crucifying Herbert are just casual fans and it will be Hortiz and Harbaugh making future decisions when it comes to Charger Football.

  • @ryanculpeper2706
    @ryanculpeper2706 28 днів тому

    You all were spot on with your analysis/criticisms. Herbert had probably his worst game of his career, but his weapons and the IOL did him no favors. That said, the offensive gameplan was pee wee football simple. I dont care if your receivers can't get open. Scheme them open! No quick slants (like the Texans!), no designed QB runs, no RB screens. And to top it off, Roman's play calling is atrocious (3 straight runs up the middle or 3 straight bombs downfield, etc).
    We'll see what happens after next year, but I imagine it will be more of the same from Roman... probably better because i expect there to be more talent on the team, but unless Roman reinvents himself, we may be talking about Harbaugh's biggest flaw: his blind loyalty to old friends.
    BTFU! Looking forward to April (sigh).

    Cant believe you guys are saying youd rather have bowers over Alt! Alt was phenomenal this year and this line was still bad. Can you imagine how bad that line would have been without him? We definitely dont win 11 games without Alt. Herbert probably would have been on IR by week 8. Bowers is amazing but if this season proved anything its that the offensive line is more important than anything. With a good line we can dictate the game, we need a legit veteran center and draft a guard and we will be set! (After signing a WR like Higgins and drafting the TE from Michigan or Penn state).

    Herbert is a great qb and obviously this loss is not completely on him. No run game, IOL getting beat on 4 man rushes, and only 1 WR that shows up accounting for over 80% of offensive production. That all being said, you cannot have the worst performance of your career in that spot. 1 pick was not on him, the rest were bad throws or terrible decisions. Herbert is far more accurate, decisive, and a better decision maker than he showed tonight. It just sucks that we have to wait 8 months for him to try and prove it again. I mean come on, Herbert throws 4 int's in one game and 3 all season? Don't know if it's the pressure or just having no weapons around him, but he has to be better.

    So I went back and watched the interceptions, one while slightly behind dissly it hit his hands and then was picked 75% dissly 25% Herbert. One was over thrown but QJ could have batted it away if he wasn’t inept. Another one was under thrown that’s all on Herbert 100% as well as the other over throw. With this being said yes Herbert didn’t play well at all, but I seen him make some miraculous throws as well that maybe only he Josh Allen and mahomes can make. He left it all out on the field he was getting his ass kicked. This is the worst team he will have under harbaugh the future is bright. This team technically overachieved by winning 11 games and making the post season as the 5th seed this season was ultimately a success. Ik it’s been 6 years since we’ve seen our boys win a playoff game but we’re about to see them win many playoff games now. I'm optimistic for the future and also believe this will be the worst roster Harbaugh has. He had a bunch of one year band aid contracts.
