Drae man, the Tires you use make a big difference. In mud, you'll get the best results from Mud tires or Chain tires, which have roughly the same performance in that deep mud. Large tires will also perform better than smaller tires. The right combination of tires will make all the difference. A vehicle might be good stock, but get those tires quick and it'll be unstoppable
12:25 there's a creepy bunch of graves a little north from there and if you can navigate through the trees you can get to a house NE of the graveyard. Tatarin isn't the only military vehicle, there are at least two US and two Russian ones beside it. Roof rack is a good mod as you get some extra fuel there.
Drae you can build a garage on that Zimnegorsk map. It’s the first big compound you see when exiting the Northern tunnel from the Quarry. I believe that you need to do a couple other Seismic Vibrator missions and stuff in the Quarry to unlock the mission to build that garage. Although I’m not entirely sure. It’s been a while since I did all this. If you have any questions pls comment on this. I feel like a lot of people are just ignoring my comments on vehicle locations and such and I just to help people. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck Drae and everyone else!
I noticed in a pinch you tried to go to the menu and select the winch... the shortcut for quick-winching is your best friend... just sayin. Glad to see you're having fun in SnowRunner and you found the TUZ!
I have discovered a bit of a gem out of all the vehicles. The Chevrolet Kodiak C70. It's amazing when you find the upgrades to lift it and give it AWD. Good tires help too; I used it as my scout vehicle to unlock most of Alaska. It's the perfect blend of scout and truck that can carry stuff - it'd make a good fleet in multiplayer since it's kinda cheap too
You don't actually need to deliver the good in order, you're just not pressing 'enter' when selecting what you have to deliver. In Cargo Management, select what you want/have to deliver, and go 'enter'.

Drae it's super helpful winching with the back & sides of the truck if you can't go forwards with the winch on the front of the truck. Also you can drop off the other cargos first by clicking on them and then hitting unload at the bottom.

Drae you can just recover any vehicle you can drive even if the garage its on another map, the game just teleport you to that map's garage, and there are maps that doesnt have garage so you need to be carefull there :3

Would like to see drae do a vid comparing vehicles. Which scout to aim for, pros and cons... most bad arse truck in game. Personally? The Chev Kodiak 70 is my go to for running around, especially unlocking map stuff, fixing and so on. At first glance might underestimate, but it is the one you want when you start working in Alaska above all else!
The first map is the only one with a garage. and if you recover it takes you to the closest garage. and there is one more military truck in Alaska on pedro bay i think
Now I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure that two steering axles actually decreases the turning radius, not increase it. Also that truck comes with a spare wheel by default so you didn't have to drive through a swamp with an empty tire.
Well 2 steering axles actually increases turn radius its meant for heavy load your thinking of crab steering were 4 axles a steering that tightens up the radius
@@GWMsharpshot21 It's primarily about wheel base though, the Stryker ICV has a fairly similar turn radius in comparison to a long bed truck, I don't know any design that uses crab steering not to mention from my understanding it's not that great for control.
The 2 axle steering does help with the turning radius but also helps because without, the middle tires whould last about 2 weeks at most because they whould have to slide on the ground breaking the treads
If the Tatarin can actually go in the water and there is such a big mass of water in the last map, cuold it be that there are going to be water-based missions?
The TUZ 420 is slow, but towing monster, and I doubt Weasel could even flip it. Gauntlet thrown. . . I want to like the Azov's, DAN, and Kolob's, but their nose loves to bottom out into the ground killing all momentum. The Asov 73210 is one of the few if only that allows a crane, bed, hitch a secondary bed, and even winch a third bed after that. My current main vehicles are the Tayga, and Voron Grad. The Tayga has unique mud tires & always on awd/diff. The Grad has a slightly better power/weight, and switchable awd/diff so you can get higher speed.
A seismic vibrator truck is loud af, like it has a specialized plate that pushes the truck up off the ground and from that it acts like a thumper or some shit since it basically sends sound through the medium of the earth's crust below it and sweeps the frequency higher and higher and captures the returning waves to create a sonar-like 3d image of the crust beneath. Using that scientists can calculate the density of materials, the depth of them as well among many other things. They use them to find oil deposits to know where to drill and how far to drill down, its called Seismic Reflection Imaging.
They should add the Sherp as the ultimate vehicle, it would be so cool! If ya dont now what the Sherp is, go check it out... that thing is an absolute beast!

This machine generates vibration of ground (practically artificial earthquake). There is probably another team following you with detectors. They measure speed and angle of waves that come to them trough ground - so they can determine type and thickness of rock layers. Practically gigantic sonography for the earth. 9:30 looks like ruins of political prisoners labour camp from Stalinist era. Those places were tragic and only slightly better than nazi concentration camps. It was specially built in most remote points so not only units of NKVD were guarding prisoners, but also harsh natural conditions and long distance to any other human settlement.
Arguably there are some that were worse. Look up the Nazino Affair. It was a tiny island in the middle of a river in in Siberia where 6,000 people were deported. Not prisoners, not political prisoners, not criminals, just people randomly picked off the streets to meet Stalinist “traitor” quotas. They were left with no tools, no equipment, and no shelter with less than a loafs worth of flour per person a week as rations. The guards shot people for fun, there were rapes, cannibalism, and hundreds starved to death. The locals have stories of that time and you can still see the bones on the island that have been cracked for the marrow. It’s horrifying and on par with a lot of what the Nazis did.
I found the TUZ with a much bigger truck and one of the best trucks in the game and you can find it in Alaska the Cat articulated 6x6 truck. forgot what its called

I got a fruit roll up and was about to eat it while watching this and there where two of the rolls and I made a deal with my sister to play snowrunner with me and my two friends and it worked, was it worth it probably not

Yep its the ANK MK38....its a beast of a rig. Tho its downside is it can only have the standard sideboard bed on it

Not every map has a garage but you can recover a vehicle it just sends you back to a map with a garage.
You gotta build the garage in zemngorsk the mission is called key buildings restoration
