    Wouaw very nice ! I would prefer a smaller tap, or a kind of valve maybe, something with a smaller output to dose/dispense with a nice flow... Also I would be afraid to tight to much and break the glass ! I will find something thick enough... I just bought yesterday a set of glass drill, a sign I must make it I guess haha... thanks !!!

    One most difficult thing for me to find was the part what You used to connect the (IKEA) jar with the rest. I found it on aliexpres. It is "water tank connection" - they have it as well in shops with camper accessories (or ebay - not exactly the same). Too bad that You don't let us the list of part... But any way... great job!

    I cant seem to find a way to seal the bottom of my T fitting when I tried making mine. So i came here, and I kind of had the same idea, (to use a plug, but the backside of the plug wouldn't thread) which brings me to my question. What type of plug did you use at the base of your T ?!?!?

    Nice looking, though for a diy I was hoping to see a parts list. Is it brass or copper? What was the total cost? I think it would have been much cooler if you found a way to incorporate the tubing in a way to chill the beverage while dispensing it. I think I may make one similar.

    • @avprfan1
      @avprfan1 6 років тому

      ItsMeGiga brass has a good color and copper has a red color. This is mostly brass. The coil is copper

    • @dscrive
      @dscrive 6 років тому +1

      looks to me like standard plumbing fittings mostly, steel floor flange, several adaptors to convert that to brass, maybe 1/2" parts. I think the connection rod is a 3 or 4 inch nipple. T fitting, appropriately sized faucet, and some sort of flow meter, which I think is the only part not easily found at a hardware store. the last bit to connect to the jar I'm not sure what it is, but looks like neoprene washers to seal and I'm guessing the hole was drilled with a diamond holesaw.
      the coil is copper though
      I was hoping for a parts list too, but I can extrapolate most info and guess the total cost was around 50 bucks (USD) that's guessing the meter is only 20 bucks or so.
